The AMT Ta6W Saxophone Microphone for Shure Wireless Systemsis a multi-purpose microphone system for Soprano, Tenor, Alto, and Bari saxophones. The microphone can be used as a double microphone setup for soprano saxophone like the ta2, but can be reduced to a single microphone for tenor, alto, and bari saxophones. With an optional extension kit, the ta6 can also work with straight alto and straight tenor saxophones.

The Ta6W microphone comes with a cable for direct use with Shure, Sabine, Line 6 wireless systems or AMT inline and beltpack (BP45) preamps via the Ta4 female connector.

A: The AKG 12VDC power supply is compatible with the receiver included in the WMS450 system.

A: The RE50 has a 1 inch shank. A A53M is too small as its interior dimension is 0.75 inches.

[Condenser] I use this microphone for live performance of clarinet + live electronics. Finally I am able to be mobile and compact on the stage, not using two separate microphones (with so many holes sound source is practically everywhere in this kind of instrument). I hope this solution will also help to avoid feedback problems. Sound quality is great, but I am not expecting it to be 100% natural, since the lower microphone is pointing almost directly to the bell, getting very rich of low freqs sound. I think it will be best to combine it with wireless solution. 5

[Cardioid] This is an outstanding microphone for micing a closed lid on a grand piano. While we don't need a microphone to enhance the sound in the church sanctuary it is needed to supply sound to monitors and the streaming signal. We have been using the M40 for several years and when the old one failed we immediately purchase a new one. 5

[50 Hz to 18 kHz] We use this mic inside our grand piano with the cover closed. Set up is so easy - we can leave it inside and just attach the XLR cable to the external box, mounted on the dolly. And the sound is excellent - much better than the mic on a boom with the cover partly open. Because the lid is closed, there is much less unwanted sound from the rest of the band. Overall, an excellent product. 5

[150 ohms] Awesome product. super strong, sturdy, and sets up in seconds. Holds alto or tenor saxes securely. The brace that touches the lower part of the bell is adjustable up/down to accommodate alto/tenor and to enable you to avoid hitting any of the big tone holes on that part of the horn. Also accommodates a peg for a clarinet or flute (sold separately - or you can buy a different model that comes with the peg). 5

[1.269 oz (36 g)] It never pays to not to have extra!! Just used my wireless system on a gig that ran a little off schedule lucky for me I had extra batteries.Good luck was not on my side. good planing was. 5
