Two aspherical elements are used in the optical design to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations in order to produce greater sharpness and accurate rendering. A Super EBC coating is also used to control flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in bright and backlit conditions. Complementing the optics is a stepping motor, along with an internal focusing design, which provides quick and especially quiet focusing performance. [0.14x] While not a pancake lens, it's still fairly small and balances well on my X-T30 II. Autofocus is fast and the aperture ring feels nice to the touch. The focal length is perfect for street photography. Great bokeh at f/2 while remaining sharp. 5

[9, Rounded] I really regretted selling my X100F because of the enjoyment I got out of its 23mm lens. When I looked back at pics I had taken, I noticed that many of my keepers were shot with that camera and lens combo. So, I had to get a 23mm f2 to go with my X-T5 and X-E4 and am now getting reacquainted with the joy of using it on my daily hikes. 5

[FUJIFILM X] I used this on a Fujifilm XT3 the images were great. Small, light, quite, and sharp. I didn't find a problem fully open at f2 and up to f8. If you want the feel of a X100V but can't get your hands on it, this did it for me. 5

[0.14x] Great little lens, great build, perfect size for street work and bright enough at f/2. I originally owned this but changed over to a Fuji 16-55mm f/2.8 zoom. Also a nice kens, but I got tired of having that giant lump on the front of my camera. So, back to primes, and no regrets. 5
