A: I have the X5, not the X5R. The7.5mm 3.5 lens fits (dimensions) but it is 45 grams heavier than any other lens I use. I have the 12mmOly, 15mm DJI, 25 mmOly, 45mm Oly and 14-42 Oly. They all work fine, but have different balancing requirements. At some point, people put too much on the gimbal. Sure, you can balance it, but the gimbal motors are working harder (my opinion). Then, when the gimbal chatters, or stops working, people blame the gimbal.

A: The more expensive cine lens has the Dual Side markings, focus and aperture gears plus the coatings that are supposed to match the others in the set. Otherwise the lens performance will be comparable.

A: You could use the Rokinon 12mm T3.1 lens on a D600 for still photography, yes. The lens isnt limited to video use.

Q: 7. How is this with video? Having to make a skate/snow video and they want that 'traditional fish eye' look.

A: Used it for skating for like a year and it works fine depending on the camera. On my old gh4 it cropped in 4k and lost the fisheye look you want, but in 1080 it was fine. Probably the best fisheye option for m4/3. Pretty limited with the small sensor. Try to make sure you focus close up rather than use infinity and shoot with a deeper DOF if you want it to be as sharp as possible.

Q: 8. What would be the focal length on a Panasonic GH4 with a .71 metabones adapter?

A: No matter what you do to this lens, it's focal length will never change; it will always be a 12mm. To get the equivalency FOV (Field of View) of a full frame sensor (a format you are not shooting in) multiply 12mm x 2 x 0.71 = 17.04mm or 92.95° FOV.
