Add long-lasting V-mount battery support to compatible cameras with this dedicated IndiPRO V-Mount Plate LP-E6 Dummy Battery 15mm Rod Bracketfrom IndiPRO Tools. It connects to the camera using an LP-E6 dummy battery at the end of a 24" cable and attaches to your rig via a 15mm LWS rod bracket provided on the bottom. When mounted on rods on the back of your rig, it can also function as a counterweight. This plate also features a D-Tap output for powering a 12-16V accessory simultaneously with the camera.

A: This does not charge your batteries. You would need an additional charger.

A: This unit is designed to power the Sony A7 series of cameras, it will not work with Canon DSLRs that are powered by LP-E6 batteries. However IndiPRO Tools makes similar solutions that will. They have LP-E6 powered battery grids that you can use on cameras like the Canon 5D Mark III, 7D Mark II, 6D and more.

A: Nope, I bought it and it's not phantom powered.

[1x D-Tap] I am using it on my BMPCC6K Pro with 190Wh Battery, which charges camera and nucleus nano. It's well build comes with LP E6 Dummy battery which i don't use and some additional cables. The only con for me is that it don't have turn on/off button. 5

[12 to 16 VDC ] What a difference a little decent power makes! Many of us Sony acolytes have found out the hard way that even 6 FW50s is not enough to get you through a day; they drain fast and charge SLOWWWW. This nifty dual LP-E6 solution is a LIFE-SAVER for A7S ii users like myself and the added XLR audio inputs is a darn nice addition, to boot, even though I rarely use them. So far, it's been my primary power for the camera, giving me up to an hour & 40mins of sweet, sweet juice as opposed to the sad 40 to 45mins on a single FW50. I try to treat it gently, bearing in mind the plastic parts and the single 1/4x20 screw attaching the 15mm rod clamp to the housing, but that's easy to do at my age... nothing lasts forever but we can push are luck as far as it will go... ;) 5

[1x D-Tap] I bought one of these a couple of years back at NAB for my Canon 5D MII. Its made well and works great. Not only can I power my 5D, with the d-tap on the plate I can power my Newz light from Zylight. 5
