A: Yes, the Sanken CS-M1 can be used with the Denecke PS-1A or PS-2 which are both compatible 48V phantom power supplies. The Denecke PS-T is not compatible for use with the CS-M1 because it is a 12V "T-power" supply intended for use with older microphones that require lower voltage and the CS-M1 requires 48V phantom power.

Q: 7. I'm very fond of Sanken mics personally. Thus I wanted to ask how is the reach on this mic. Is there anything you guys could tell in that regards? I know it's not a shotgun mic, however it's Super Card.

A: It very similar to most of other shotgun mics (and it's a shotgun mic). Not as directional as Sennheiser 416, so I wouldn't recommend if you need to capture sounds outdoors very far away.

Q: 8. Will the o rings fit with the Rode NTG2 on Sony's PXW-X70?
