A: I use it fine with the ME-2 lav mic. I have never used it with the ME-4 which is a little fatter on top but this windjammer stretches and looks like it should fit the ME-4. The windjammer only cost $20 so you might order it and try it out and if it doesnt work with your mic then you can return it.

The Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone has a specified weight of 1.21lb and therefore may not be completely compatible with this mic boom for optimal functionality.

I have both of these items and the mic does not fit perfectly (flush) on the OC White...which has a 5/8 standard thread. The PodMic has a 3/8 thread with a PARTIAL 5/8 thread...so when you attach it to the OC White it only goes about halfway on...it's firmly on, but it's only half way...not "flush" as in the pictures.
