There is a small, covered, internal accessory box under the instruments neck location, and a generous zippered accessory pouch on the front of the case. This case will provide excellent protection for an instrument as long as isn't crushed by a considerable weight. Scrapes, scratches, hard bumps, and even drops from shoulder height will do no damage to the instrument inside, and no functional damage to the case itself. Have no doubts, this is real protection for you Kala Baritone or U--Bass.

[14.875"] My daughter has been playing a guitar for more than 2 years and is very good. After doing a presentation in school about Ukuleles she decided to learn to play it. After checking on models and types of ukuleles we decided to get this one. The product is very nicely made, comes with a tuner and padded gig bag. It was easy to set up and tune. My daughter was able to start learning from separately purchased instruction book very quickly. It sounds good and stays tuned.

[Rosewood] Bought the Kala KA-S uke for my toddler son (and me). Good price and only $20 more than a cheap-o plastic model. Great quality/sound and rugged construction. I am confident it will last until he actually learns how to play chords. For now he looks cool with it in his play yard. :-)

[14.875"] This is a beautiful ukulele. I'm a novice at ukulele (although I've played guitar before) and want to try learning this. The first few songs I've learned have a nice tone. The tuning doesn't seem quite as stable as my steel-stringed guitar, so I need to tune it a bit more at the start of each session, although that may be something that's inherent with nylon strings. Regarding the strings, though, the feel of them is nice, and my fingers aren't all calloused yet, the way they get when I play the guitar frequently. As for price, you can't beat this, especially with the package deal. Get it.

[14.875"] I bought this for a Yamaha GL1 6-string guitalele. It fits in the same soft case as my tenor ukes so I thought I would try this hard case. I do not have a bottom strap button installed on my guitalele and the case was a very tight fit. I was concerned that it would put pressure on the neck so I squished down the padding inside from the top and bottom to loosen it up a bit. It seems to be better now. The height of the case is just fine to accommodate the wider body of the Yamaha GL1. The case itself is very lightweight and easy to carry through airports, but sturdy enough to take on an airplane as a carry-on and not worry about it being crushed in the overhead bins. The interior storage compartment has plenty of room for things like picks, capos, tuners, etc. The outside pocket is also nice but I’m not using it for anything.
