A: Travel with this kit is easy. Every thing is together in one portable case. The alkaline battery selection gives you twice the hours as the rechargeable type and there is no charger to transport. AA batteries are available everywhere. I use the MIC 014 omni-directional microphone and place the transmitter in the center of the room or table. Everyone is facing the unit and clarity is enhanced over my hearing aids. With the MIC 014 range is decreased to about 25 ft radius but adequate for a large room.

Q: 10. what is a 3.5 mm in inches need 1/4 inch ?

A: 3.5 mm equals 0.137795 . This jack is smaller than a 1/4 inch jack but you can buy an adapter to size it up to 1/4 inch. This a mono jack rather than a stereo jack.

[100mV] I have been using one of these receivers for about 10 months at our local church, and decided to purchase one that I could call my own. Without the receiver I would miss so much of what is being said by the Priest, that I might as well just stay home. When it comes time to pour the wine, I can hear it dropping into the chalice.
I never miss a thing now. I can even hear the pages turning in the book on the altar. Great clarity, and sound. Well worth the expense.

[52mA, Nominal] Purchased five (5) units to replace older model Williams Sound receivers. They all work as intended. One of the boxes was missing the earpiece; B&H promptly shipped one.

[75µS] I have purchased 100s of these over the past three years and only 2 have had to be sent back for a prompt manufacturer's free no questions asked repair or replacement. I have tried all of the other brands but none compares to the William-Sound audio quality and clarity.

[Black] I recently used this receiver to listen to the program for a three-day Regional Convention that was broadcast at 72.9Mhz and it was wonderful! I heard the speakers on the program like never before and it greatly enhanced the prerecorded musical portions as well. With the touch of a button on the first day, the receiver's seek feature found the correct broadcast channel quickly and I didn't have to adjust it for the rest of the convention, which was very convenient. With the included headphones, I only needed to set the volume at between 1 and 2(with 5 being the loudest), which is pretty low, but it was enough for comfortable listening. I was also able to use the same pair of rechargeable Ni-MH batteries for the entire 24+ hours of the program without having to recharge them. As a negative, it would be nice if a padded case were included for the receiver, as it is made of rather hard plastic and I was concerned it might crack if it accidentally fell onto a hard surface. I also don't really like that the channel-seek button is located inside the battery storage compartment - I suppose it prevents accidental button presses. It's hard to say where else it could be safely located, but it's not very intuitive to find it with the batteries - it could just be difficult to explain to someone not so at ease with technology where to look for it. I could be mistaken, but it also seems that the receiver is designed to be recharged in a docking bay, but I did not see an option to buy that particular product on the B&H site. If made available, it's something I would probably purchase once I start using the receiver on a more regular basis. Overall, I am very satisfied with this receiver and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an FM receiver using the 72-76Mhz band.
