A: Yes, that plate will work with the ikan VK7i 7 HDMI Monitor with Sony BP-U Type Battery Plate. All the ikan plates are interchangeable with all the ikan monitors.

Q: 6. Currently using fx6 with v mount plant tilta, but i'm having voltage warning sign. (i changed the voltage warning to 16.0V) anyway how to fix?

A: Sounds like you might be getting a low voltage warning, since the FX6 is supposed to work off of 18 to 20.5 VDC via the power port. Maybe try using a different V-mount battery with the Tilta Battery Plate for Sony FX6 (V-Mount) and see if that gives you different results.

Q: 7. How does this connect/mount to the ground unit? They should have photographed the back of the unit.

A: The ground unit will have the proper connections to attach this plate. It will be close the power connection as this has the proper barrel plug for the unit.

[0.2 lb] I heard about this in Christopher Grey's book. My studio has open beams and I've attached several of these to the rafters. Terrific, extremely durable. As a dog photographer, anything that will keep stuff off the floor is great!! At one time I had an avenger stand with a long boom and a softbox attached to the end. During the shoot, I freaked out, What was I thinking, I could end up with a dead, electrocuted dog!!! Glad I stumbled on these. 5

[0.2 lb] Using an on-camera Litepanels light without a camera battery adapter plate is just a waste of AA batteries and your precious time in my opinion. The adapter fits easily on the litepanel and reduces bulk and worry. Camera batteries last so much longer and gives me one less thing to have to carry around. 5

[0.2 lb] Trying to make sure I have enough AA Batteries to run this light was a pain. If it started to fade, then the light was done for the evening for me. However, with this adapter plate, I've been able to just pop in another rechargable battery that I'm already using with my cameras. It is convient, painless, and leaves me worry free. 5
