[0.05 lb] This products saves me money because the Lite Panel MicroPro uses lithium batteries. They only last a few hours. So, using this adapter plate saves money in the long run.

[0.05 lb] I wish I had purchased this sooner. No more need for a bajillion, yes, a bajillion, AA batteries. I now have one battery for the Litepanel and one battery for my camera-- I only have to charge them at night and then I am ready to roll the entire next day.

[0.05 lb] This is a great option to AA batteries. Much easier to swap out batteries using this plate than using AA batteries. Use the AA batteries for emergency power.

[0.05 lb] This is a great power solution for the Canon C70. It allows you to power the camera and and accessories without adding the bulk needed to rig gold/vmount batteries. A lot of the battery does stick out of the camera but it is still a much more compact solution than an external battery source. My only complaint is that the charger is just a rebadged generic bpa charger that charges slowly and gets HOT. It can take over 8 hours to fully charge 2 empty batteries. This is not a huge issue for me though because I can easily get through a day of shooting with 2-3 of these.

[0.05 lb] Trying to make sure I have enough AA Batteries to run this light was a pain. If it started to fade, then the light was done for the evening for me. However, with this adapter plate, I've been able to just pop in another rechargable battery that I'm already using with my cameras. It is convient, painless, and leaves me worry free.

[0.05 lb] Using an on-camera Litepanels light without a camera battery adapter plate is just a waste of AA batteries and your precious time in my opinion. The adapter fits easily on the litepanel and reduces bulk and worry. Camera batteries last so much longer and gives me one less thing to have to carry around.

[0.05 lb] Received a couple of these batteries thinking they were just going to be okay. After using them at an event I was surprised that they lasted as long as they did with power to spare.

[0.05 lb] It's getting harder to find miniDV tapes. The Sony miniDV tape works well for dubbing or making a master that's time-coded (if you're working with 1920:1080 or 720x480 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio). For me, miniDV tapes serve a useful, intermediate step in the process of converting some old VHS tapes, where cataloging or identifying specific frames or ranges is desirable.
