The CHAUVET DJ Hurricane 1200 Fog Machine Portablefrom CHAUVET DJ Hurricane 1200 Fog Machine Portableis a lightweight effect machine that will enhance any light show. The Hurricane 1200 measures 11.3 x 9.3 x 8.2", weighs 6.4 lb, outputs 18,000 cfm, and consumes 28 ml/min of water-based fog fluid. It comes with an FC-T 15' wired remote that allows you to automatically trigger fog output by setting interval, continuous, or duration time. There is also an optional wireless remote control. Advanced features include an LED-illuminated tank and a fluid sensor with automatic shut-off to protect the pump.

A: It's flash duration. The Hi-Sync heads have a longer flash duration which provides a greater window for the shutter to synchronize at higher speeds.

A: It stays relatively cool. Probably close to 110F to touch (cooler than hot water).

A: Depending on your shoot, yes. Ive been very happy with these so far. Last week I shot in a room with open windows and a skylight in daylight and they still did the job. Very happy with these.

A: The Genaray MonoBright Daylight LED 1200 has the equivalent output of a 1,200W open-face tungsten light. HMI lights of equivalent wattage have much higher outputs compared to tungsten lights as they are much more efficient, so no, a 1,200 watt-equivalent tungsten (or tungsten-equivalent) light would not be anywhere as bright as a 1,200 watt HMI light source. 5200K is the light source's Kelvin color temperature; as daylight at noon is typically 5600K, so light sources that have an output of 5000-6500K are considered to have a daylight-balanced color temperature. Kelvin temperature, wattage, and light output are all different things and cannot be directly compared to one another.

[1180 W] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This beautiful piece of equipment, the Chauvet Hurricane 1800 Flex Fog/Smoke Pro Machine, is nothing less than incredible! We have Karaoke nights, about once every two weeks, and while they have been fun, this machine helped bring the night OVER THE TOP fun! With the incredible hookups on this, we were able to hook up music and the karaoke machine. This machine has adjustable 180 degrees angles, which gave us options of how and where to let the fog fly! The remote is super easy to understand and use, and has a 5L tank, which pumped out a great amount of fog. We chose manual use so we could still see the screen, lol, (you can adjust how much comes out). This baby has a low fluid indicator and automatic shut down, the 5 Liter tank holds plenty of juice for any occasion, we loved the LED illuminated tank which made it look space age. Super happy about this product and next up will be helping the HS Football Team run out on the field! We're going to be awesome Band Parents!! I can definitely see this at parties, more game nights, and you can bet I'll be spooking it out at Halloween! 5

[1x Fog Machine] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cool fog machine! The quality is awesome too. It is very high quality! It is also very durable! It is heavy and built very well! I don’t feel like it will fall apart on me! This machine is very easy to set up too and it even comes with a timer remote! What is very neat about this machine is that it produces fog on command and it shuts off automatically if the machine runs out of water! It also heats up the water really fast and also puts out fog fast! You can also adjust the angle of the machine 180 degrees which is nice! I highly recommend this fog machine! It is great for DJ’ing but you can use it for other purposes too. Try it out, you will be happy you did. Pros: quality, durable, versatile Cons: none 5

[1x Fog Machine] When I got this machine it would not heat up, it would not produce any fog. I checked the fuse, tried again...nothing, so I got on the internet and it turns out this is not an unusual issue. I took the cover off the machine and hit the little white reset button that looks like a teeny nipple. That was it, I don't know if it got beat around in shipping but it is fixed and this thing can really put out some fog. Just what I wanted it just needed a little help. 5

[2 Minutes] This is my second unit. I used them running on continuous in my front yard at Halloween. Both run through homemade chillers made from 5 gal buckets. They put out an amazing amount of fog all not. People are always amazed by it and the kids love the low lying fog in our grave yard. 5

It was quick and easy to set up straight out of the box. Instructions are clear and easy to understand. When we tested it indoors it filled our 2200 sqft house in 20 seconds! You can adjust the density output to fit your needs. You will need to use the recommended fog fluid, found easily at any big box store or party store. 5
