A: This plate comes with a clamp to attach it to the column of a light stand.

Q: 2. Does this top plate work with MAP2 or MAP1? I know this is not made for it, but just curious if they fit.

A: Yes, ARRI CTH-1 Cage Top Handle is compatible with ARRI MAP-2 Adapter Plate and ARRI MAP-. However, the ARRI CCH-2 Center Camera Handle has a more solid connection with the plates.

Q: 3. can this top handle be mounted to Wooden Camera top plate for Red DSMC2 models?

A: This top handle is specifically for RED DSMC2 camera with the Base Expander Module, B&H # REDSMC2BE. If you have this Base Expander it will work. https://bhpho.to/2P6VcGY.

Q: 4. Is it possible to adjust the perpendicular part that goes from handle to cage/rig? Can that part be moved so that the handle becomes an "L" shape?

A: The ARRI CTH-1 Cage Top Handle is not listed as being able to come apart.

Q: 5. Does the CTH-1 have locating pins either side of the 3/8 screw?

A: The ARRI CTH-1 Cage Top Handle does not have ARRI anti-twist locating pins.

Q: 6. What are the dimensions of the whole package including Light stands ? By the way, how high are they ?

A: The size of the kit in its original packaging is 42" long, 23" wide and 16.5" high. The included stands are about 7 feet high.

Q: 7. Will this fit directly onto the DSMC2 brain or do you need a specific top plate to attach it?

A: It will not. This is the top handle for the RED DSMC2 Base Expander Module.

Q: 8. Does it clear / fit over the flash tube of an ad400pro?

A: No it will not

A: The Arri handle would not work with the Sony FS7. However, The following two parts would work. BH #WO193900 and this handle BH #SMHTN2362 and Nato Rail BH #WO151300

Q: 10. Will this work with 14.4v Gold Mount batteries as well?

[±90°] I am primarily using this when bouncing the light or shooting through diffusion to help maximize the light output. Without using a light meter, there is a noticeable increase in light intensity with this panel. Very happy with this purchase. 5

[4.245 lb] These barn doors are built well (maybe over built) and work well. They attach to the S60 quickly and easily, plus they have safety clips build in. I leave these doors on my SkyPanels to transport them. Adds a level of protection while bouncing around in the grip truck. Kinda heavy, though... 5

[4.245 lb] Didn't realize this utilizes a 1-1/8 spigot, not big deal I just had to purchase proper stands for this mount. I love that this mount can come on and off the light without tools, which allows the light to pack more easily into a Pelican 1610 case (use the Skypanel S30-C), the standard mount yoke that comes with a SkyPanel is rather bulky for travel and only comes off by removing four screws. The versatility that this mount adds for lighting angles is great. Only downside is now the power supply for the Skypanel has to be mounted to the stand or set on the ground. Strong and high quality. 5
