Q: 1. Does anyone know how long the gold coloring lasts for? Does it start to chip? Does it change when its outside?

A: The gold color, indoors or out, should last forever. However, the finish is reported to be vulnerable to scratching so be careful.

Q: 2. Will the Oben QRA-R2 quick release assembly work with this tripod and if not is there one that will?

A: Yes, the Oben QRA-R2 will work with the Titlall tripod.

Q: 3. what is different between this model 2 and the original version of the TE-11WZ ?

A: The difference between the newer Kowa TE-11WZ II Wide-Angle Zoom Eyepiece and the original version is purely cosmetic. The new model has the magnification markings for the newer 99 scope (30-70x) and the 88/77 scopes (25-60x), whereas the original eyepiece only had the 25-60x zoom range markings.

Q: 4. Do this devise will work with Sanken COS-11D XLR conector wired. To connect to Sennheiser G3 wireless system?.I will like to use my wired Sanken for wireless too, do this is possible?

A: This device has the special female mic connector (1/8 locking) for Sennheiser lavelier mics that are normally used with the G3 wireless system. It converts only those mics so they may be used with standard XLR mic cables. So this device has a male XLR connector that plugs into a standard mixer mic input. It is not suitable for connecting other kinds of mics with XLR connectors.

A: My answer is no, you cant just buy the head.

Q: 7. Can I modify this to use a gimbal head?

A: The head of this tripod is not removable. You could attach a head via the 1/4 -20 top screw (use these bushings if the gimbal has a 3/8-16. Manfrotto 148KN Reducing Bushing Set - 3/8 -16 to 1/4 -20 (Set of 5) B&H # MA148KN. However, I would not truly recommend this and only do so if no other alternative was available.

Q: 8. Are all the materials made from metal, more or less like the original?

A: Yes, it is mainly made of Aluminum Alloy.

Q: 9. How long is it?

A: The Ricoh TE-2 Extension Adapter is about 2.6" long.

Q: 10. Where is this made? Who makes it? How is the quality? i.e. compare and contrast to the original. It's rather expensive for something that may come from China. Unless the quality is superb.

A: This tripod is really well made. I checked on the box and yes, it is made in China. But not to worry, it doesnt have the feel of a cheap tripod. I always wanted to have a Tiltall. Now that I have one, I am very happy with it. I have four other great tripods and this one is the nicest, it is a real classic. I do not know how it compares to the original one, but it is a great tripod and worth the price tag. It is so nice that it is almost a collector item.

[1.8 lb] This is a beautiful ukulele. I'm a novice at ukulele (although I've played guitar before) and want to try learning this. The first few songs I've learned have a nice tone. The tuning doesn't seem quite as stable as my steel-stringed guitar, so I need to tune it a bit more at the start of each session, although that may be something that's inherent with nylon strings. Regarding the strings, though, the feel of them is nice, and my fingers aren't all calloused yet, the way they get when I play the guitar frequently. As for price, you can't beat this, especially with the package deal. Get it.

[Kauri] Well made, sturdy and great padding. This Gator cases reasonably priced and is like the quality cases some ukulele companies include when you purchase a ukulele.

[Tenor] Simple inexpensive fix to plug guitars into non-guitar processors. Especially older equipment. It even made my live rig sound better. B&H was very helpful and answered some of my silly questions about it without rushing me or being frustrated and treated me as if I was buying a Medium format Leica digital camera. No batteries, quick, simple, inexpensive, and effective.

[Kauri] The teenage engineering choir dolls are 'living' art. In my case, the woodworking is more valuable than the electronics.

Sure, they'll harmonize if you have multiple, but the 24 songs get old pretty quickly. For me, they're great display pieces - not unlike the Vitra Eames house bird.

I have four of them, and that's probably enough. I wish teenage engineering would release a couple new songs every so often. Maybe they can put an intern on it each summer!

[1.8 lb] Bought the Kala KA-S uke for my toddler son (and me). Good price and only $20 more than a cheap-o plastic model. Great quality/sound and rugged construction. I am confident it will last until he actually learns how to play chords. For now he looks cool with it in his play yard. :-)
