The mako blue MAKALA MK-SS/BLU Shark Soprano Ukulele Mako Bluefrom MAKALA MK-SS/BLU Shark Soprano Ukulele Mako Blueis an entry-level Makala Series (Shark) Soprano Ukulele that has an kauri wood top, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard and custom bridge. It can be used for several applications by musicians and students in recording studios, rehearsals, for playing at home, and more.

The MK-SS/BLU has a powerful sound. The injection-molded body of the ukulele is built with 12 brass frets, and has geared tuners to ensure the instrument stays in tune. Featuring a custom shark bridge, this instrument looks great and is appropriate for the beginner or professional performer.

[Rosewood] Just bought a new straight P Mauriaut Soprano. The K&M securely supports the sax, practically impossible to tip, and fits into the bell inside the case. It protrudes about 1/4”, but still works. Just check your clearance at the bell to make sure it works with your particular case. 5

[13.625"] Bought the Kala KA-S uke for my toddler son (and me). Good price and only $20 more than a cheap-o plastic model. Great quality/sound and rugged construction. I am confident it will last until he actually learns how to play chords. For now he looks cool with it in his play yard. :-) 5

[Open Gear] My daughter has been playing a guitar for more than 2 years and is very good. After doing a presentation in school about Ukuleles she decided to learn to play it. After checking on models and types of ukuleles we decided to get this one. The product is very nicely made, comes with a tuner and padded gig bag. It was easy to set up and tune. My daughter was able to start learning from separately purchased instruction book very quickly. It sounds good and stays tuned. 5

[Mahogany] The Uke is great! I've been messing around with it since I received it in the mail. I love the bright sound it gives! I'm new to Ukes so I don't know much about them yet. But for my first Uke it has a wonderful sound and great build! 5

[Kauri] This is a beautiful ukulele. I'm a novice at ukulele (although I've played guitar before) and want to try learning this. The first few songs I've learned have a nice tone. The tuning doesn't seem quite as stable as my steel-stringed guitar, so I need to tune it a bit more at the start of each session, although that may be something that's inherent with nylon strings. Regarding the strings, though, the feel of them is nice, and my fingers aren't all calloused yet, the way they get when I play the guitar frequently. As for price, you can't beat this, especially with the package deal. Get it. 5
