The blacktip MAKALA MK-SS/BLK Shark Soprano Ukulele Blacktipfrom MAKALA MK-SS/BLK Shark Soprano Ukulele Blacktipis an entry-level Makala Series (Shark) Soprano Ukulele that has an kauri wood top, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard and custom bridge. It can be used for several applications by musicians and students in recording studios, rehearsals, for playing at home, and more.

The MK-SS/BLK has a powerful sound. The injection-molded body of the ukulele is built with 12 brass frets, and has geared tuners to ensure the instrument stays in tune. Featuring a custom shark bridge, this instrument looks great and is appropriate for the beginner or professional performer.

[1.6 lb] This is a beautiful ukulele. I'm a novice at ukulele (although I've played guitar before) and want to try learning this. The first few songs I've learned have a nice tone. The tuning doesn't seem quite as stable as my steel-stringed guitar, so I need to tune it a bit more at the start of each session, although that may be something that's inherent with nylon strings. Regarding the strings, though, the feel of them is nice, and my fingers aren't all calloused yet, the way they get when I play the guitar frequently. As for price, you can't beat this, especially with the package deal. Get it. 5

[Plastic] I love this thing. Puts together in a flash. Stores in the bell of my sax in the case, so no extra bag or box to carry. The legs are metal, and because there are five of them, it's nearly impossible to tip over. 5

[Plastic] Just bought a new straight P Mauriaut Soprano. The K&M securely supports the sax, practically impossible to tip, and fits into the bell inside the case. It protrudes about 1/4”, but still works. Just check your clearance at the bell to make sure it works with your particular case. 5

After checking on models and types of ukuleles we decided to get this one. The product is very nicely made, comes with a tuner and padded gig bag. It was easy to set up and tune. My daughter was able to start learning from separately purchased instruction book very quickly. It sounds good and stays tuned. 5

[Plastic] The K&M Soprano Sax Stand is a solid secure stand that I don't have to worry about tipping. I can carry it to gigs in my case but the fit in my case is a little too snug too feel comfortable with using it for regular storage. I'm definitely happy with this stand. 5
