Q: 3. is this thing wobbly at all? my cameras are 12 and 28lbs do you think the rails would flex at all

A: No flex that we know of. Use two tripods or stands and the Glide Gear Dev Dolly will support camera packages up to 50 lbs.

Q: 4. If I bought a few of these is it possible to connect them to make a 8', 12', 16', or 20' track?

A: Yes, when adding more pairs of the Glide Gear Track Extension Pole for DEV Dolly System (Pair, 4'), you can extend the track length as desired.

Q: 5. Can the rail mounts be mounted to c-stands or do you need to use tripods?

A: Yes you need a baby pin. Not a upper sturdy mount however. I'm having a real mount made to take speed rail.

Q: 6. What's the diameter of the rails?

A: The diameter of the rails 1 1/4 inches in diameter.

Q: 7. Are there any mounts on the "end mount" pieces? Can it sit on 5/8" studs?

A: There are only 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the bottom of the end mounts. There is no baby pin receiver.

Q: 8. Can you mount a Benro 100mm hi hat and fluid head on it? What other Hi Hats can be used?

A: You can attach this one to the dolly: Kessler Crane 100mm High Hat for Kessler Sliders B&H # KECS1021

Q: 9. What would be a good, afforable set of stands to get for this?

A: We recommend getting two of both the Kessler Crane K-Pod Tripod System and Manfrotto 500BALL 100mm Half Ball Leveler w/3/8" Screw for 100mm Bowl Tripods to support both ends of the Glide Gear DEV 4 Video Camera Roller Track Dolly System, for safe operation.

Q: 10. For longer dolly moves, I'd rather get speedrail than connect two separate pieces. Is there a way to adapt speedrail or solid pipe into this bracket system?

A: If you want to go speed rail, we believe that you would have to come up with speed rail bracketry. While the actual dolly appears pipe diameter agnostic, the rail brackets are not adjustable to other diameters. We are rather sure speed rail is larger than the pipe that comes with this kit.

[3 lb / 1.4 kg] So I have owned 2 different DSLR sliders. I keep getting more and more equipment lighting field monitors, and follow focuses and they sliders I had are just absolutely unable to hold the amount of weight I need to put on them. I loved the way this product looked because it has that very professional feel so I went for it. This thing is the bomb. I purchased 2 tripos for it to sit on and this thing is solid and super smooth. Absolutely worth the money. THe other sliders were around $$, so for double the price you get quadruple the value and an extremely professional looking slider. Go for it 5

[3 lb / 1.4 kg] I absolutely LOVE this Dolly system. I was in the market for a Dana Dolly when I found this rig. It looked like it included more rigging options and a better price, so I was curious. After doing tons of research and speaking to other Dev 10 owners I was sold. This setup is just as great as a Dana for a far better price. Couldn't recommend it enough! [DEV Dolly Track] I didn't try them yet but look very heavy. It's a good item very heavy and looks stable; these wheels are also very cheap! We bought 8 to make skate support for a doorway dolly. 5

[5 lb] This product is awesome! I've used C100s, FS5/7, and many more on it! Far smoother than any slider. You need some beefy stands to hold it. I also use maffer�clamps rather than the 1/4" mounts on the bottom to hold it. Not very portable though. It kind of requires a crew to use. Not� the best for one man band shoots (unless it's just and interview) 5

[DEV Dolly Track] I was originally planning to build a dana dolly. It made more sense (time & money) to buy this. It's not as well built a dana dolly but for the price it's great. It rides smooth and works well. The wheels can be a bit squeaky but they may relax over time. The holes are all threaded with M10 threads. 5
