[Gold Mount] Now I can mount an Anton Bauer battery to my Dracast LED in a snap. Of which I have many. The adapter is easy to attach/detach so I have the flexibility to use V mount batteries with no adapter, or AB Gold mount batteries with the adapter. I fooled around with ordering a cheaper knock off from China. Bad experience. This works perfectly.

Gone is the gaff tape, rip wraps, rubber bands, etc. So much nicer and professional!What's awesome is that it has 2 D tap connectors, so you can run multiple accessories.The photo is slightly wrong. The actually connections on the bracket are female lemo connections. Haven't had a good chance to get into these just yet, but you have 3 of the larger lemo size 12 volt (1B I believe), 1 0B lemo for a 5 volt, and 1 0B lemo for a 7.2 volt.The other review about this item is for the item in the photo. However, that's an OLD photo of the wrong part. Currently, as of 11/18/2012, I can tell you that the connections are female Lemo connections, NOT what is pictured in the photo.WARNING!!! Just to be on the safe side, call B&H photo before you buy this to make sure it IS the correct part.

[Gold Mount] The two reversable D taps are great, also the plate can be turned on the mount to change the alignment of the battery (for the F-7H a vertical mount leaves better clearance of the SDI ports) Really streamlined my directors monitor build.

[Gold Mount] Used as a backup in case one of our plates breaks (very unlikely) or we need to rig one with some additional connections or something. Works like it should.

I order a Manfrotto 241S her in Montreal Quebec Canada. When it arrived 2 weeks later, I try it and it was defective, the suction was not working :-( .


I call B&H service explain and report the problem they say no problem, they sand me an other 241S no charge and I keep the the defective one they say. Thank you B&H.

[0.7 lb] This plate is amazing - I recommend to every SmallHD Cine13 (and up) owner I know. I love that it removes cables from the back of the monitor and leaves the XLR power open for block battery or AC power. I love that it passes power backwards to Teradeks or other gold mount accessories - so with a battery on one side and my Teradek on the other, I don't need a power cable for the Teradek - it receives power through the plate. Fantastic.

The only small thing is that there is a little gap between the battery plate and the monitor, so it can shift side to side a bit. I worry that this will be the cause of its failure in the future.

Other than that - perfect plate. Must have.

[0.7 lb] I use this adapter to put a Gold Mount battery on my Dracast Silver Series LED 1000 Foldable Bi-Color light. It works perfectly, and is very well made. I even use it to charge the gold mount batts on my V-Mount charger. All without a hitch. Another good product from Dracast.
