[50 GB] First time buyer. Was skeptical but they carry more items like 50GB blu-ray disc. So I placed order - timely shipping and excellent packaging for shipment. I'm impressed.

[M-DISC BD-R] It works great. I have recorded movies and they play very well on a Sony player. Don't know the durability of the recordings but they work perfectly.

[50 GB] I have used M-Discs for sometime now. I have NEVER had a bad burn on any of the Verbatim M-Discs. This is one of the best options to store data long-term with low risk of data rot/corruption of data occurring over time. I use these for any data that I want to archive for many years.

[6x] Yeah, thought that about 1.44MB 3.5 discs

and I thought about CD's
and I thought that about DVD's
and I thought that about BluRay's
BUT, this,, well, it's the next step, I accumulate more files,, they make bigger storage.

Seems to be a pattern - I don't know which of us is driving the bus....

[50 GB] Seems it's impossible to get these in Australia for some reason. These are most definitely the genuine article - 8 speed and I've been copying 40GB+ onto many disks without a problem. Not just movies but personal data backups (don't trust cloud storage, folks, store locally). I'm just about to buy some more. Thanks B&H.

[M-DISC BD-R] These M-DISCs worked well for me. I just burned 21 of the 50 GB size without any issues. There were no coasters and no verify fails when writing at the 6x rated speed. Certainly a pricy DISC, but for archiving my photo collection I felt it was worth it. I used an LG burner and checked that I could read after burning with an older Plextor Drive. I used free Starburn software that was downloaded to create a single ISO image that was then burned onto the DISCs.
