The IR623-PoE-2 Series 940nm Long Range IR Illuminator (75’, 100 x 50°) from Iluminar offers IR lighting for video surveillance systems. The unit covers multiple scenes up to a distance of 75'. With an IP67 rating, it is vandal proof and can be used indoors and outdoors. The anodized aluminum housing provides protection from harsh weather conditions. This illuminator has no hot spots, a wide emission angle at long range, and avoids attracting insects that obscure a camera's view. IR illumination is an ideal source of illumination for security cameras, as it is invisible to the human eye but visible to night vision cameras. It also avoids problems caused by light pollution and has a longer range than visible light.

Q: 1. With the RS3 Pro and transmission unit, could the lidar be used to autofucs and track at the same time the transmission unit is being used to monitor? Would you still be able to control functions using a pair of Ronin 4d handles as well? I presume you would have to daisy chain the USB C's for the focus motor and lidar, so would that cause any lose in functionality?

A: The DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS (B&H# DJRSRF) is used to find the range of the subject for autofocus. The transmission unit is just used to broadcast the image signal. The two may be used at once. As for using the DJI Ronin 4D Handgrip Combo (B&H# DJR4DHGC) on the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor (B&H# DJHBRM) for control, that is also possible. They will all function.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with the Ursa 12 K Pro?

A: No, the DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS 3 Pro is only designed to function and work with the DJI RS3 Pro gimbal. However, there are users out there that have been able to use the DJI Lidar and lens motor off gimbal. This setup has many limitations, but it would allow you to use the Lidar with cameras like the Black Magic Ursa.

Q: 3. It says it has a padded sleeve for a 9.7 inch laptop/tablet and it also says "Holds a DSLR or mirrorless camera, 5 lenses up to 200mm f/2.8, and a 13" MacBook or a 15.6" laptop (similarly-sized laptops)". So is there room for a 15 inch laptop?????

A: That information is incorrect it only fits a 9.7 inch laptop. I will email the web department to fix that.

Q: 4. Does this bag come only with the dividers shown? Can it fit a Fuji XT3 with Fuji 150-600 attached, with room for more?

[180' (55 m)] After I bought the first one and seeing how good it was, I ordered 3 more. They are that good for license plate reading. I have to say that I am now in the 99 percentile in reading license plates. I am going to post a picture of a golf cart with a standard California plate. The measured distance is 187 feet. The camera I am using is a Dahua 5442E-Z4E at full extension. I do not recommend using this camera at over 75 feet for license plate gathering. 5

[75' (23 m)] Using this to light up the side yard all the way to the back fence, about 90 feet. Just like in Iluminar's youtube videos this thing throws IR light everywhere. I love that a separate camera in a opposite corner that just sees the backyard sees the massive amount of IR light that it puts out. I have this model and the IR148 both are built solid after a year later still waterproof and working fine. 5

[3.3 lb (1.5 kg)] I bought a similar version from another manufacture to increase the license plate reading capability of my Dahua 5442E-Z4E license plate camera. It was a nice step in the right direction. So, I decided to up the IR some more and see how that would work. While searching the internet I found this model with double the IR power. I bought one and it was an even bigger success. I can now read close to 100% of the plates. So, I have ordered two more to go in my other locations. By the way, this one draws 1 Amp @ 12vdc of power according to the spec sheet that came with the camera. For comparison the other one draw 4/10 of an amp at 12vdc. I am very impressed with this unit. 5
