The IR623-PoE-2 Series 940nm Long Range IR Illuminator (295’, 10°) from Iluminar offers IR lighting for video surveillance systems. The unit covers multiple scenes up to a distance of 295'. With an IP67 rating, it is vandal proof and can be used indoors and outdoors. The anodized aluminum housing provides protection from harsh weather conditions. This illuminator has no hot spots, a wide emission angle at long range, and avoids attracting insects that obscure a camera's view. IR illumination is an ideal source of illumination for security cameras, as it is invisible to the human eye but visible to night vision cameras. It also avoids problems caused by light pollution and has a longer range than visible light.

A: Yes, it would be able to hold that tripod.

A: 1) Yes. That cable is perfect. If anything, it's overkill but it will definitely work without issue.2) No. I think you could theoretically use up to 300'. I have had issues with a cable getting longer than 200' but I have many of these AP's on cables well over 100' without issue so you should be fine.

Q: 3. Will multiple access points allow for seamless roaming within the covered area?

A: Yes, that's the whole philosophy behind UniFi. A suite of UniFi APs, that can include mixed models and mixed generations, properly configured by a common Controller, allows seamless roaming across overlapping AP coverage areas.

Q: 4. What capacity, if any, will the RS2 focus motor work when combined with RS 3 Pro Gimbal? (Combo = RS 3 Pro Gimbal, Lidar for RS, and RS 2 Focus motor)

A: The DJI Ronin Focus Motor for RS 2 and RSC 2 is not listing capability with the DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS. If looking to pair the DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS with the DJI RS 3 Pro Gimbal Stabilizer, consider using the DJI RS Focus Motor (2022).

Q: 5. Does the single pack come with a Gigabit or Fast Ethernet PoE adapter?

A: I may have found it myself. In the datasheet it shows they're shipped with a 24V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE Adapter.

Q: 7. How long is the POE cable which connects this Unifi unit to the POE adapter?

A: The Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-LR-US 802.11ac Long Range Access Point BH #UBUAPACLRUS does not include any Ethernet cables. If you are referring to the power cord for the PoE injector, it is approximately 1.5'.

Q: 8. Has anyone upgraded from the previous non-AC LR units? Are the mounts the same or do you need to redrill the wall?

A: The mount plates are indeed different for the UAP-LR and UAP-AC-LR. Of note, the UAP-AC-LR access points are 25 mm (0.98 inches) smaller than the older UAP-LR access points.

[53' (16 m)] Using this to light up the side yard all the way to the back fence, about 90 feet. Just like in Iluminar's youtube videos this thing throws IR light everywhere. I love that a separate camera in a opposite corner that just sees the backyard sees the massive amount of IR light that it puts out. I have this model and the IR148 both are built solid after a year later still waterproof and working fine. 5

[Via cable] I bought a similar version from another manufacture to increase the license plate reading capability of my Dahua 5442E-Z4E license plate camera. It was a nice step in the right direction. So, I decided to up the IR some more and see how that would work. While searching the internet I found this model with double the IR power. I bought one and it was an even bigger success. I can now read close to 100% of the plates. So, I have ordered two more to go in my other locations. By the way, this one draws 1 Amp @ 12vdc of power according to the spec sheet that came with the camera. For comparison the other one draw 4/10 of an amp at 12vdc. I am very impressed with this unit. 5

[295' (90 m)] Used other extenders and was able to extend the power without issue. But the data was still kind of off. These extended them both using the POE directly from the switch. Recommend them to anyone looking to use existing cat6 cable vs switching to fiber. 5

[Black anodized] This really lights up the target area. It was well worth the purchase price. Just realize that it's a large, heavy light. The mount is cheaply made. I don't know who they have making it, but it doesn't have the ATN quality that I expected. I had to re-tap the screw holes just to get it mounted. The adjustments are a little awkward and with heavy recoil it tends to move. 5

[295' (90 m)] After I bought the first one and seeing how good it was, I ordered 3 more. They are that good for license plate reading. I have to say that I am now in the 99 percentile in reading license plates. I am going to post a picture of a golf cart with a standard California plate. The measured distance is 187 feet. The camera I am using is a Dahua 5442E-Z4E at full extension. I do not recommend using this camera at over 75 feet for license plate gathering. 5
