The IR623-PoE-2 Series 940nm Long Range IR Illuminator (62’, 120°) from Iluminar offers IR lighting for video surveillance systems. The unit covers multiple scenes up to a distance of 62'. With an IP67 rating, it is vandal proof and can be used indoors and outdoors. The anodized aluminum housing provides protection from harsh weather conditions. This illuminator has no hot spots, a wide emission angle at long range, and avoids attracting insects that obscure a camera's view. IR illumination is an ideal source of illumination for security cameras, as it is invisible to the human eye but visible to night vision cameras. It also avoids problems caused by light pollution and has a longer range than visible light.

A: Yes, The new AP's will be backwards compatible with the older units on the same network.

A: It comes with a PoE injector, but it can be powered by PoE compatible routers as well.

Q: 7. I purchased Pearstone 50' Cat6 Snagless Patch Cable (it was recommended) 1. Is the the correct cable? 2. Will the 50' length reduce strength?

A: 1) Yes. That cable is perfect. If anything, it's overkill but it will definitely work without issue.2) No. I think you could theoretically use up to 300'. I have had issues with a cable getting longer than 200' but I have many of these AP's on cables well over 100' without issue so you should be fine.

Q: 8. Will multiple access points allow for seamless roaming within the covered area?

A: Yes, that's the whole philosophy behind UniFi. A suite of UniFi APs, that can include mixed models and mixed generations, properly configured by a common Controller, allows seamless roaming across overlapping AP coverage areas.

Q: 9. Does this unit have a pass thru data port on the back so you can connect another unit in line with it?

A: There is no pass through on this unit.

Q: 10. Does the 5 pack come with the Poe adapters?

A: Definitely not! Thats part of the cost savings

[Black anodized] This really lights up the target area. It was well worth the purchase price. Just realize that it's a large, heavy light. The mount is cheaply made. I don't know who they have making it, but it doesn't have the ATN quality that I expected. I had to re-tap the screw holes just to get it mounted. The adjustments are a little awkward and with heavy recoil it tends to move. 5

[36 W] I bought a similar version from another manufacture to increase the license plate reading capability of my Dahua 5442E-Z4E license plate camera. It was a nice step in the right direction. So, I decided to up the IR some more and see how that would work. While searching the internet I found this model with double the IR power. I bought one and it was an even bigger success. I can now read close to 100% of the plates. So, I have ordered two more to go in my other locations. By the way, this one draws 1 Amp @ 12vdc of power according to the spec sheet that came with the camera. For comparison the other one draw 4/10 of an amp at 12vdc. I am very impressed with this unit. 5

[Via cable] Used other extenders and was able to extend the power without issue. But the data was still kind of off. These extended them both using the POE directly from the switch. Recommend them to anyone looking to use existing cat6 cable vs switching to fiber. 5

[17 x 7 x 7"] I upgraded from the illuminator provided with my scope , to the Supernova. As expected it gave me greater range. The unexpected bonus was the better duration of the battery. With the original, I had to change out batteries during a night's hunt. With this I have not. Finally, I own several ATN products and have found your technical support and customer service to be superb. Sign me a loyal and satisfied customer. 5
