The WL436 Series Long-Range White Light Illuminator from Iluminar is a visible light illuminator for surveillance cameras. This illuminator features high-power SMT-enabled (Surface Mount Technology) LEDs with current-limited integral control circuitry. It provides illumination to a distance of 436' at an angle of 10°. It also has a built-in photocell and comes with a wall mounting bracket. The IP67-rated and vandal-resistant illuminator can be used outdoors. The hardened housing provides protection from harsh weather conditions and rapid temperature variations ranging from -58 to 140˚F (-50 to 60˚C).

A: Yes, the controller should be used only when sending settings to the unit. At my home, the controller is almost never used.

A: The mount plates are indeed different for the UAP-LR and UAP-AC-LR. Of note, the UAP-AC-LR access points are 25 mm (0.98 inches) smaller than the older UAP-LR access points.

Q: 10. I purchased Pearstone 50' Cat6 Snagless Patch Cable (it was recommended) 1. Is the the correct cable? 2. Will the 50' length reduce strength?

A: 1) Yes. That cable is perfect. If anything, it's overkill but it will definitely work without issue.2) No. I think you could theoretically use up to 300'. I have had issues with a cable getting longer than 200' but I have many of these AP's on cables well over 100' without issue so you should be fine.

[3.3 lb (1.5 kg)] This really lights up the target area. It was well worth the purchase price. Just realize that it's a large, heavy light. The mount is cheaply made. I don't know who they have making it, but it doesn't have the ATN quality that I expected. I had to re-tap the screw holes just to get it mounted. The adjustments are a little awkward and with heavy recoil it tends to move. 5
