The IR919 Series Long Range IR Illuminator from Iluminar emits infrared illumination, which is invisible to the human eye but can be seen by a night vision camera with its IR cut filter removed. The illuminator has a 100 x 50° light distribution angle that provides an HOV of 563’ and a range of 236’.

The IR919 illuminator is designed to provide IR lighting for CCTV systems. With an IP67 rating, the illuminator is weatherproof and can be used outdoors. The hardened housing provides protection from harsh weather conditions and rapid temperature variations (-58 to 140°F). This semi-covert camera is not effected by light pollution and has a longer range (236’) than visible light illuminators due to its higher wavelength.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this unit have a pass thru data port on the back so you can connect another unit in line with it?

A: There is no pass through on this unit.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with dji rs2?

A: At present time, the DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS (B&H# DJRSRF) is only compatible with the DJI RS 3 Pro Gimbal Stabilizer (B&H #DJRS3P) and there has not been any announced intention to make it work with any other gimbal(s) as of this time.

Q: 3. Will the rangefinder work with the focus motor also when not connected to the gimbal? Eg tripod shots, handheld shots etc on different rigs without gimbal?

A: At this time, DJI has only recommended support for the DJI LiDAR Range Finder for DJI RS stabilizer systems.

Q: 4. What is it with the US tag in the part number? Is it strictly reserved for US residents? I'm from Canada and would like to buy one of these someday.

A: From Ubiquiti's community website...The reason why there are two versions (other brands other versions as well), because in the US, they do not allow devices which are capable of operating outside the US Regulatory domain by the FCC. In terms of the difference or a super-set, the US Version is basically a World Version restricted to operate within the US Regulatory domain. In terms of a product purchase, if you were purchasing from a US seller, you can only get the US version since they are allowed to sell this version. There are some sellers in the US which do sell the World Version, however they can only ship it to addresses outside of the US. If you were purchasing from outside the US, they will have World Versions (ie. Canada).

Q: 5. Will this also take care of active track without Raveneye?

A: Yes, The DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS gimbals would also provide motion tracking data to the gimbal. The LiDAR Range Finder (RS), RS 3 Pro supports ActiveTrack Pro, delivering better subject identification and tracking performance.

Q: 6. Does the 5 pack come with the Poe adapters?

A: Definitely not! Thats part of the cost savings

Q: 7. Can this AP be powered by a non-Ubiquiti PoE router such as Netgear GS108PE or TP Link SG1008PE?

A: It comes with a PoE injector, but it can be powered by PoE compatible routers as well.

Q: 8. Has anyone upgraded from the previous non-AC LR units? Are the mounts the same or do you need to redrill the wall?

A: The mount plates are indeed different for the UAP-LR and UAP-AC-LR. Of note, the UAP-AC-LR access points are 25 mm (0.98 inches) smaller than the older UAP-LR access points.

Q: 9. Do you have a estimated date the manufacturer will ship these to you?

A: I apologize, but this type of request cannot be taken care of through this feature of our website. Please contact our Customer Service department by entering Live Chat, emailing directly to cs@a href= http://bhphoto.com, target= _blank bhphoto.com,/a or calling us toll-free at 800.221.5743.

Q: 10. Does this include the tripod attachment?

A: According to Vanguard's website, it does come with a tripod attachment. :) See their page here for a full picture of what comes with it: https://bit.ly/3tx2aZU

[9' (3 m)] I bought a similar version from another manufacture to increase the license plate reading capability of my Dahua 5442E-Z4E license plate camera. It was a nice step in the right direction. So, I decided to up the IR some more and see how that would work. While searching the internet I found this model with double the IR power. I bought one and it was an even bigger success. I can now read close to 100% of the plates. So, I have ordered two more to go in my other locations. By the way, this one draws 1 Amp @ 12vdc of power according to the spec sheet that came with the camera. For comparison the other one draw 4/10 of an amp at 12vdc. I am very impressed with this unit.

[850 nm] I did quite a bit of research before making this purchase.

I used NVGs and other night vision devices when I was in the U.S. Army. The Axton products are military grade and built like a tank with a lifetime warranty to boot.

Plus, they provide world-class customer service. I'm very pleased with my purchase and it is worth every penny.

[32] The thing is massive, I'll say that. But it does it's job and does it well. Haven't had the chance to try it at extreme ranges, but it turns the night to day.

[2.2 A at 24 VAC] After I bought the first one and seeing how good it was, I ordered 3 more. They are that good for license plate reading. I have to say that I am now in the 99 percentile in reading license plates. I am going to post a picture of a golf cart with a standard California plate. The measured distance is 187 feet. The camera I am using is a Dahua 5442E-Z4E at full extension. I do not recommend using this camera at over 75 feet for license plate gathering.

[236' (72 m)] I upgraded from the illuminator provided with my scope , to the Supernova. As expected it gave me greater range. The unexpected bonus was the better duration of the battery. With the original, I had to change out batteries during a night's hunt. With this I have not. Finally, I own several ATN products and have found your technical support and customer service to be superb. Sign me a loyal and satisfied customer.

[850 nm] I've had a few of these scattered about the property for a couple years now. Throws a lot of IR and have been flawless. Beam pattern, IR power, and photocell sensitivity are adjustable.

[2.2 A at 24 VAC] Bought 2 after other cheaper illuminators were low-light. THey run off a 12 V 7AH battery and the beam means they illuminate objects within 50 ft or more!
