The IR919 Series Long Range IR Illuminator from Iluminar emits infrared illumination, which is invisible to the human eye but can be seen by a night vision camera with its IR cut filter removed. The illuminator has a 120° light distribution angle that provides an HOV of 331’ and a range of 95’.

The IR919 illuminator is designed to provide IR lighting for CCTV systems. With an IP67 rating, the illuminator is weatherproof and can be used outdoors. The hardened housing provides protection from harsh weather conditions and rapid temperature variations (-58 to 140°F). This covert camera is not effected by light pollution and has a longer range (95’) than visible light illuminators due to its higher wavelength.

Q: 1. It says it has a padded sleeve for a 9.7 inch laptop/tablet and it also says "Holds a DSLR or mirrorless camera, 5 lenses up to 200mm f/2.8, and a 13" MacBook or a 15.6" laptop (similarly-sized laptops)". So is there room for a 15 inch laptop?????

A: That information is incorrect it only fits a 9.7 inch laptop. I will email the web department to fix that.

Q: 2. can i use this with my fuji xt3 camera?

A: Yes, the DJI LiDAR Range Finder can daisy chain USB-C into the DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) and out to the USB-C focus motor port on the gimbal. The DJI Ronin RavenEye Image Transmission System for RS 2 & RSC 2 can plug its USB-C cable into the video transmission/LiDAR Rangefinder USB-C port on the gimbal.

A: The DJI LiDAR Range Finder is offered separately since it is a very important component of the 4D system. This allows the user to have a back-up or a replacement for one lost or damaged.

Q: 8. Is the Lidar frequency closer to 905 or 1550 nanometers?

A: DJI does not provide any information about the DJI LiDAR Range Finder frequency range.

Q: 9. will this be able to focus with a diopter filter +1 or +2?

A: The minimal focal distance of the DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS 3 Pro is 0.7m to 1.2m away form the sensor, so as long as the motor is calibrated correctly and the Lidar can see the subject, the DJI LiDAR will be able to pull focus to the subject whether the lens has a diopter mounted to it or not.

Q: 10. I purchased Pearstone 50' Cat6 Snagless Patch Cable (it was recommended) 1. Is the the correct cable? 2. Will the 50' length reduce strength?

A: 1) Yes. That cable is perfect. If anything, it's overkill but it will definitely work without issue.2) No. I think you could theoretically use up to 300'. I have had issues with a cable getting longer than 200' but I have many of these AP's on cables well over 100' without issue so you should be fine.

[9' (3 m)] Using this to light up the side yard all the way to the back fence, about 90 feet. Just like in Iluminar's youtube videos this thing throws IR light everywhere. I love that a separate camera in a opposite corner that just sees the backyard sees the massive amount of IR light that it puts out. I have this model and the IR148 both are built solid after a year later still waterproof and working fine. 5

[32] After I bought the first one and seeing how good it was, I ordered 3 more. They are that good for license plate reading. I have to say that I am now in the 99 percentile in reading license plates. I am going to post a picture of a golf cart with a standard California plate. The measured distance is 187 feet. The camera I am using is a Dahua 5442E-Z4E at full extension. I do not recommend using this camera at over 75 feet for license plate gathering. 5

[940 nm] I bought a similar version from another manufacture to increase the license plate reading capability of my Dahua 5442E-Z4E license plate camera. It was a nice step in the right direction. So, I decided to up the IR some more and see how that would work. While searching the internet I found this model with double the IR power. I bought one and it was an even bigger success. I can now read close to 100% of the plates. So, I have ordered two more to go in my other locations. By the way, this one draws 1 Amp @ 12vdc of power according to the spec sheet that came with the camera. For comparison the other one draw 4/10 of an amp at 12vdc. I am very impressed with this unit. 5

[32] This really lights up the target area. It was well worth the purchase price. Just realize that it's a large, heavy light. The mount is cheaply made. I don't know who they have making it, but it doesn't have the ATN quality that I expected. I had to re-tap the screw holes just to get it mounted. The adjustments are a little awkward and with heavy recoil it tends to move. 5
