The IR919 Series Long Range IR Illuminator from Iluminar emits infrared illumination, which is invisible to the human eye but can be seen by a night vision camera with its IR cut filter removed. The illuminator has a 30° light distribution angle that provides an HOV of 157’ and a range of 295’.

The IR919 illuminator is designed to provide IR lighting for CCTV systems. With an IP67 rating, the illuminator is weatherproof and can be used outdoors. The hardened housing provides protection from harsh weather conditions and rapid temperature variations (-58 to 140°F). This covert camera is not effected by light pollution and has a longer range (295’) than visible light illuminators due to its higher wavelength.

Q: 2. will this be able to focus with a diopter filter +1 or +2?

A: The minimal focal distance of the DJI LiDAR Range Finder for RS 3 Pro is 0.7m to 1.2m away form the sensor, so as long as the motor is calibrated correctly and the Lidar can see the subject, the DJI LiDAR will be able to pull focus to the subject whether the lens has a diopter mounted to it or not.

Q: 3. What is it with the US tag in the part number? Is it strictly reserved for US residents? I'm from Canada and would like to buy one of these someday.

A: From Ubiquiti's community website...The reason why there are two versions (other brands other versions as well), because in the US, they do not allow devices which are capable of operating outside the US Regulatory domain by the FCC. In terms of the difference or a super-set, the US Version is basically a World Version restricted to operate within the US Regulatory domain. In terms of a product purchase, if you were purchasing from a US seller, you can only get the US version since they are allowed to sell this version. There are some sellers in the US which do sell the World Version, however they can only ship it to addresses outside of the US. If you were purchasing from outside the US, they will have World Versions (ie. Canada).

Q: 4. Can Raveneye still work while the Lidar module is active?

A: Yes, the DJI LiDAR Range Finder can daisy chain USB-C into the DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) and out to the USB-C focus motor port on the gimbal. The DJI Ronin RavenEye Image Transmission System for RS 2 & RSC 2 can plug its USB-C cable into the video transmission/LiDAR Rangefinder USB-C port on the gimbal.

Q: 5. Can this AP be powered by a non-Ubiquiti PoE router such as Netgear GS108PE or TP Link SG1008PE?

A: It comes with a PoE injector, but it can be powered by PoE compatible routers as well.

Q: 6. What the warranty on this bag?

Q: 8. Doesn't this come with the base 4D camera? If it's only compatible with the 4D and comes with it, why is it sold separately?

A: The DJI LiDAR Range Finder is offered separately since it is a very important component of the 4D system. This allows the user to have a back-up or a replacement for one lost or damaged.

Q: 9. Wich lenses can the rangefinder interface directly connect to via 4-pin lemo to not need to calibrate the lenses? Would Cooke /I and Zeiss/XD work via 4-pin lemo port?

Q: 10. Will the LiDAR work with the Sigma Art Lens 18-35, which is mechanical, but has no hard stops?

A: If you are using the non-cinema Sigma 18-35mm lens, you will need to use the focus gear ring that comes with the focus motor.

[24 VAC] I upgraded from the illuminator provided with my scope , to the Supernova. As expected it gave me greater range. The unexpected bonus was the better duration of the battery. With the original, I had to change out batteries during a night's hunt. With this I have not. Finally, I own several ATN products and have found your technical support and customer service to be superb. Sign me a loyal and satisfied customer. 5

[157' (48 m)] Using this to light up the side yard all the way to the back fence, about 90 feet. Just like in Iluminar's youtube videos this thing throws IR light everywhere. I love that a separate camera in a opposite corner that just sees the backyard sees the massive amount of IR light that it puts out. I have this model and the IR148 both are built solid after a year later still waterproof and working fine. 5
