Q: 4. will this work with a Blue Yeti? would I need any adapter?

A: Yes, you can mount the Blue Yeti microphone on the Auray RFMS-580 tripod stand. The Yeti has a standard 5/8" mounting thread on the bottom which can be attached to microphone standard or broadcast arm. To keep the mic isolated from noise and vibrations, the manufacturer recommends using the Blue Radius III Shockmount (B&H# BLRADIUS3) to mount the Yeti first, then attaching the shockmount to a mic stand or broadcast arm.

A: Yes, there is no need to be concerned about clearance with the meter cell in the M5. I use this lens on my CL, which has the same meter design and clearances. My experience with many of their lenses confirms this. The lens itself is one of my favorites, and I recommend it very highly. I hope this has been of help!

[Screw-Knob] Mechanical design and functionality take precedence over reduced cost of manufacturing. So much better cheap mic stands.

[5/8"-27 Male] I had another brand (Musicians Gear I believe) boom stand where the bolt that tightens the boom arm stripped. I eventually re-tapped it and replaced that bolt with one slightly larger, but in the mean time I purchased this to use on those legs. It works great for a mic that isn't too heavy, but I may have to add a little counter weight for a condenser with a pop-filter to keep it from slipping.

[Fixed Length] Boom is sturdy and works well, plus it's made in America. Love it!

[Screw-Knob] This is one of the best stands I have come across for the money. It fits in almost any space, doesn't take up extra room. Very Sturdy construction.

[Black] Have purchased several of these for my church praise band. Sturdy and good price. Looks like it will last for years and years!

[Twist Clutch] I use this stand for recording guitars and sitting vocals. I like the large turning knobs. It has been a hit so far and unlike other stands that get wobbly and sketchy over long periods of use, it's been really sturdy so far. It really is a small stand though, there will be no recording a standing adult human being.

[Tripod] light, sheap effective. Great bang for the buck.

[Screw-Knob] I bought this for a DIY subkick mic, just a 10" woofer, which is much heavier then any other mic I have ever used. The boom on this stand holds it in place without tipping over or coming loose. It has been mounted for over a week and it hasn't moved a bit. If you need a short fixed boom stand that doesn't get in the way, this is it.

[5/8"-27 Male] I used this stand to mic guitar amps that sit low to the ground. It proves to be sturdy with a good center of balance so it won't tip over. Nothing negative to say about it.
