Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. do you sell carrying case for this stand?

A: Yes. The Auray RFMS-580 tripod stand will fit in most cases designed for microphone or speaker stands such as the Gator Cases GPA-50 (B&H # GASSB) or Auray SB-52SSB Speaker Stand Bag (B&H # AUSB52SSB), which are both soft carrying bags.

Q: 2. Do you sell adaptor for sony a7s?

A: Si venden distintas marcas de adaptadores. Yo compre el de la marca Metabones y funciona a la perfeccin. Prob otro mucho mas barato y no acoplaba bien a la camara.

Q: 3. does this lens work on Nikon 5300? Thanks in advance

A: You will need an adaptor Leica M mount to Nikon and it is only manual focus.

Q: 4. Do you ship to Dublin Ireland?

A: Yes we do. You may calculate your actual shipping options/order totals by adding the items you want to a shopping cart. It will then list the shipping options, descriptions, ETA's and fees to your location.

Q: 5. What is the lowest height adjustment of this stand?

A: Height; 42 to 68" / 106.68 to 172.72 cm Collapsed Size: 35.2" / 89.41 cm

Q: 6. will this work with a Blue Yeti? would I need any adapter?

A: Yes, you can mount the Blue Yeti microphone on the Auray RFMS-580 tripod stand. The Yeti has a standard 5/8" mounting thread on the bottom which can be attached to microphone standard or broadcast arm. To keep the mic isolated from noise and vibrations, the manufacturer recommends using the Blue Radius III Shockmount (B&H# BLRADIUS3) to mount the Yeti first, then attaching the shockmount to a mic stand or broadcast arm.

Q: 7. will it fit with leica m5?

A: Yes, there is no need to be concerned about clearance with the meter cell in the M5. I use this lens on my CL, which has the same meter design and clearances. FYI, Stephen Gandy, who is an acknowledged expert on all things Leica and Voigtlander, states that all Voigtlander lenses will work on all Leicas without a problem. My experience with many of their lenses confirms this. The lens itself is one of my favorites, and I recommend it very highly. I hope this has been of help!

Q: 8. For a filmmakers would you recommend single or multi coat?

A: It would be best to use the multi-coated version to reduce any lens flare or ghosting.

Q: 9. this is the MC not the SC correct?

A: Yes, this is the multi-coated version.

Q: 10. Can this hold a Aston Halo? Do I need a thread adapter of some kind?

A: No adapter is needed.

[Black] I used this stand to mic guitar amps that sit low to the ground. It proves to be sturdy with a good center of balance so it won't tip over. Nothing negative to say about it.

[5/8"-27 Male] I use this stand (one of five) for overhead miking various orchestral instruments and sections. It is tall enough, with the boom extended, to cover the high winds and strings in a band/orchestra, to supplement a center stereo pair and give better balance with the back row brass and winds. It is skinny enough to be unobtrusive placed in the middle of an orchestra or band. I found a suitable swivel at B&H to hang a stereo bar from a horizontal boom. A boom helps keep the microphones out of the way for video. If you don't need a 9' reach, the 40 reach of this stand might do the trick.

[Black] I have used the last cheap mic stand. With my upgrades to better mics, I can afford them crashing to the concrete, so I invested in the stands and am very happy with the investment.

[Black] This is one of the best stands I have come across for the money. It fits in almost any space, doesn't take up extra room. Very Sturdy construction.

[6 lb] This is the first mic stand I've bought and I was surprised at how heavy it is. Makes sense since it's so tall. I put the stereo mic high up in front of our 36 member chorus and am getting a very good balanced sound.

[37.5 x 4 x 4"] Don't forget to flip it upside down as it's confusing until you do. Great design.

[6 lb] Very lightweight compared to other mic stands I’ve used. But still quite stable. I take this on video shoots for interviews. Setup is easy and the stand is reliable.

[Tripod] I use this stand for recording guitars and sitting vocals. I like the large turning knobs. It has been a hit so far and unlike other stands that get wobbly and sketchy over long periods of use, it's been really sturdy so far. It really is a small stand though, there will be no recording a standing adult human being.

[6 lb] light, sheap effective. Great bang for the buck.

[Fixed Length] K&M stands are made very well. The heavy zinc base lends stability to the setup. The 43"-79" stand above is tall enough to be well overhead of seated musicians. With the long boom (42"), it can be used for space miking a choir or instrumental group for recording, or spot miking a choir on risers. I work strictly mobile, and these stands fold for easy transportation (other than weight). Tension on the legs is adjustable so they don't flop about.
