iOptron 7" Vixen Dovetail Plate Universaloffers this 7" long iOptron 7" Vixen Dovetail Plate Universalfor mounting small to medium optical tube assemblies (OTAs), DSLRs, or other accessories on mounts or secondary systems with ease. The plate is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy with a scratch-resistant black anodized finish. It has pre-drilled holes set at common intervals in standard sizes with separations of 1.5" and 3", with a long 1/4" slot that is ideal for mounting and properly balancing a DSLR and long lens for wide-field astrophotography.

A 1/4"-20 cap screw is also required. The length of the screw should be between 1/2" and 5/8", depending on the mounting hole depth on your camera body.

A: Sunwayfoto DP‑50R Quick Release Plate is universal. You can raise the anti twist bar an use it against the back of the camera body if you would be articulating the LCD. If you will be using the Lcd close to the camera body you can attach the connect the anti -twist bar to the LCD bottom concavity.

[0.59 lb] With a slot plus several holes, you can probably attach most scopes/mounting rings. Some of the holes are threaded 1/4-20 and those can be useful for attaching to a mount that isn't a Vixen dovetail. I used it to attach a Sky-Watcher Startravel 120 to an old Televue Panoramic mount as well as to a dovetail. 5

[8 x 4.05 x 1.4"] I like it, fits my Canon camera just fine. I wish the pin would line up but the 1/4-20 mount fits snug. 5

[8 x 4.05 x 1.4"] Bought this to hold an old ETX90 optical tube on an iOptron Cube Pro. Works fantastic. Easy to balance the OTA assembly even with a DSLR camera attached. 5

[0.59 lb] This plate REALLY IDEAL match with my Vixen Porta II mount and make possible mounting my OTA Sky Watcher 4.5' Neutonian.
