A: I doubt it will all fit. It's pretty tight with the lightstands. You might be able to cut out some foam and make some room though.

Q: 2. What case comes with this set? I saw that the 3-panel kit had the iM2975 but I don't imagine they have the same case.

A: The case included with this kit would be a Pelican iM2750.

Q: 3. What is the angle of Medium Flood when on the astra 1x1?

Q: 4. Does this come with Light Stand?

A: Light stand is not included.

Q: 5. Which version of the Astra Bi-Color line is this Astra Soft based on, before diffusion, LED power wise? Or is it unique? The E version (Same Power of Original 1x1), the EP version (2x Power of Original 1x1), or the newest unlabeled version that is 4x Power of Original 1x1 version? And why are the specs the lowest, the price the highest, despite the model being the newest? Is that all diffusion? Which is of course needed no matter what...

A: The Astra Soft Bi-Color is using and powering the same LEDs as the unlabeled 4x power Astra 1x1 Bi-Color. Because there is a medium diffusion built in to the front of these LEDs, the light has a wider beam angle (90) in contrast to the the 4x Astra that is throwing the illumination further with a tighter beam angle (45)

Q: 6. I thought I knew math; what exactly does 1x brighter mean?

A: The E has the comparable output to the original Litepanels 1x1 while the color rendition has improved with the new LED technology and offers a modular concept by having the ability to add Bluetooth/DMX

Q: 7. Is there enough room in the duo case to fit two snap bags? I'd like to keep everything together in one case.

A: No, the case is not large enough to hold the two lights and two soft boxes.

Q: 8. Does this come with barndoors?

A: No the barndoors are a optional accessory there are also honeycombs and softboxes available

Q: 9. How does the weight distribution feel? It looks front heavy. Will it be stable on a smaller stand?

A: The weight on this panel is evenly distributed so that it would not be top heavy. Your best bet is to use a stand which is rated for 7 lbs or heavier. One such stand would be the Matthews Medium Duty Kit Stand with Brake - Black, 7.7' B&H # MALSMBBK. Please see the image below for reference.

Q: 10. Do these require an addtional all mounting frame ?

A: The lenses just slide in and no other accessory is needed to use this.

[0.505 lb] Bought two of these to control spill for my two Astra 1x1s. These are expensive but well made. I really like how stiff the grid is when in place, but easy to fold up for storage. 5

[DMX512] I picked up this bag hoping it would work well for holding my whole light kit (minus stands and bags). And it does! It holds both Astras and has a padded divider to stop the light panels from touching one another. The additional divider works well to keep my Litepanels Caliber fresnel separate, and using a couple padded camera bag dividers, I've created a place for my two Quasar Science Q25R's. The front pouch has more than enough room to hold power supplies and a couple of modifiers. All in all, this bag is a great value, and allows me to hold my entire 5 point lighting kit. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. I'll post again if anything starts to fall apart. 5

[0.505 lb] I gave it a 5 rating because the build quality is excellent. Set up is pretty fast, too. I was a bit disappointed with the spill control. In fairness, I am used to using a honeycomb grid, which cuts the light off like barndoors do. But, I have used an eggcrate with the Lowel Rifa light and if memory serves, it seemed to provide better control over light spill. In any case, it will last for a long time. 5

[DMX512] I use for 2 Came-TV 1x1 lights and 1 Came-TV spot light. Ports Brace usually lasts forever. The original 2 lights Came-TV bag zipper broke. I got a big bonus this holds 3 lights although says only 2. Innovation is the key in our business. 5
