[3 x 1.9 x 0.3"] This is a very simple and affordable product that performs a huge function: making it easy to start/stop video recording on many Sony mirrorless cameras which have an unintuitive and hard-to-find record button. I have purchased this is red and black, and I now prefer red because it's much more visible in a dark area. Installation is simple and durable and the product is very exactly manufactured to perform flawlessly. No more hunting with your fingers for the tiny recess. The one possible downside is that, with this ingenious device installed, it's possible to accidentally commence recording. That possibility is more than offset by the troubles the cameras present without this enhancement: not starting recording when you think you have, not being able to find the record button and missing an important shot, or rolling for 10 minutes after your shot, because you thought you shut it off when you didn't. I would highly recommend this product to anyone owning a Sony mirrorless camera. We have installed them on our A7S, 6000, and on two 6300s.

[Threaded Screw] So smart. I hate the record button on the A7s ii. its super small and when running and gunning OR directing while camera op this button can be impossible to hit on command. This little guy makes it so that i can start recording exactly when i want to! low profile, cheap, love it. the actual piece is made out of a type of foam. feels great. however, it is held in with a screw that runs through the metal strap loop on the camera. im a little worried about this screw stripping the foam in time.. but REALLLLY not that big of a deal. i have a good feeling ill get several months of use out of it before i have an issue. 100% speculation.. this may never be a problem

[Threaded Screw] The video button on the A6000 almost impossible to press without taking the camera away from your face. This solves that problem easily.

[0.04 lb] A must for any video shooter. Works great when compared to the tiny Sony movie button. Easy to install with a single screw. Just remove the existing strap clips (which should be removed anyway because they rattle and the microphones pick them up).

[Threaded Screw] I didn't expect this thing will work but it work great. After install it, I can easily locate the recording button and only one gentle push I can start recording. Only thing is about the price. $ should be the reasonable price for this.

[3 x 1.9 x 0.3"] The button enhancement should just come with the camera because it does make a big difference. I got red because I film in dark spaces, hence the sony a7s camera but if you arn't worried about the visual button, the black version would do just fine for the feel you need.

[Threaded Screw] The Sony A6000 is a cutting edge piece of equipment. Most users who have this camera simply love it. While there may not be 100% consensus that this is an incredible camera, the truth is that it has set the stage for a new standard in this category. That said, one of the most annying features for me has been the video button. I have large hands and large fingers. The video button on this camera is recessed so that there isn't accidental video recording - which is understanding. This little device is an incredible correction for that design flaw. Given the reasonable price, I decided to buy one with the thought that I had very little to lose if it didn't work. I can't tell you how surprised and pleased I am with the results. This little attachment works better than expected. First it is quite easy to install. The hardest part of the install was removing the clip for the neck strap. The device screws onto the loop that is attached to the camera body for the neck strap. I totally covers the video record button and is lined up in such a way as to engage the button when you press it. I was afraid that because of the size it would cause accidental recordings, but that is not the case. This little device does the job quite well. I can only say that you can't go wrong and for the price, it provides great relief from the headache of trying to engage that recessed button. I doubt that you'll be disappoint. My only negative take-away is that I use a wrist strap on that side of the camera. It makes it easy to hang the camera on my wrist and just swing it up when I need it. With this on the camera, I have to switch the strap to the left side which is a minor pain, but worth it. Happy shooting.
