[0.01 lb] The video record button on the Sony A7 is in a terrible hard to reach spot. This thing mounts easily and has not come loose at all. Its one screw to attach it through the strap post. Since I don't use a strap anyway this is not a problem for me but could be for someone else. Make the button almost to easy to reach and hit.

[Black] The Sony A6000 is a cutting edge piece of equipment. Most users who have this camera simply love it. While there may not be 100% consensus that this is an incredible camera, the truth is that it has set the stage for a new standard in this category. That said, one of the most annying features for me has been the video button. I have large hands and large fingers. The video button on this camera is recessed so that there isn't accidental video recording - which is understanding. This little device is an incredible correction for that design flaw. Given the reasonable price, I decided to buy one with the thought that I had very little to lose if it didn't work. I can't tell you how surprised and pleased I am with the results. This little attachment works better than expected. First it is quite easy to install. The hardest part of the install was removing the clip for the neck strap. The device screws onto the loop that is attached to the camera body for the neck strap. I totally covers the video record button and is lined up in such a way as to engage the button when you press it. I was afraid that because of the size it would cause accidental recordings, but that is not the case. This little device does the job quite well. I can only say that you can't go wrong and for the price, it provides great relief from the headache of trying to engage that recessed button. I doubt that you'll be disappoint. My only negative take-away is that I use a wrist strap on that side of the camera. It makes it easy to hang the camera on my wrist and just swing it up when I need it. With this on the camera, I have to switch the strap to the left side which is a minor pain, but worth it. Happy shooting.

[Black] The button enhancement should just come with the camera because it does make a big difference. I got red because I film in dark spaces, hence the sony a7s camera but if you arn't worried about the visual button, the black version would do just fine for the feel you need.

[3 x 2 x 0.01"] This is a very simple and affordable product that performs a huge function: making it easy to start/stop video recording on many Sony mirrorless cameras which have an unintuitive and hard-to-find record button. I have purchased this is red and black, and I now prefer red because it's much more visible in a dark area. Installation is simple and durable and the product is very exactly manufactured to perform flawlessly. No more hunting with your fingers for the tiny recess. The one possible downside is that, with this ingenious device installed, it's possible to accidentally commence recording. That possibility is more than offset by the troubles the cameras present without this enhancement: not starting recording when you think you have, not being able to find the record button and missing an important shot, or rolling for 10 minutes after your shot, because you thought you shut it off when you didn't. I would highly recommend this product to anyone owning a Sony mirrorless camera. We have installed them on our A7S, 6000, and on two 6300s.

[Threaded Screw] The video button on the A6000 almost impossible to press without taking the camera away from your face. This solves that problem easily.

[Black] does what you want it to do easily....what more can you want or expect! easy to hit play with or without gloves....everyone with a sony 6500 should get one!

[Threaded Screw] A must for any video shooter. Works great when compared to the tiny Sony movie button. Easy to install with a single screw. Just remove the existing strap clips (which should be removed anyway because they rattle and the microphones pick them up).
