[V-Mount] Using this battery plate with the Wooden Camera Battery slide on the new Canon C200. Like all Wooden Camera gear, this plate is a quality piece of gear although I was surprised that the actual battery plate is made by IDX and not branded Wooden Camera but doesn't matter. The cable is thick and heavy duty and should last a while, I like the protruding battery release button, easy to access without being too out in the open. The plate secures to the Wooden Camera Battery Slide with four included Phillips screws. I really appreciate that the plate has not one, but two D-Taps, very useful for powering outboard recorders, lights, EVFs, etc. There are dozens of battery plates on the market and that B&H sells and this is not the cheapest. But if you are using pro gear, why cheap out, buy the good stuff that will function correctly and last a while! 5
