The Sony CBK-WA02 Dual-Band Wireless LAN Adapterenables wireless data transfer from specified Sony CBK-WA02 Dual-Band Wireless LAN Adaptercamcorders to other devices on the same network. This adapter is compatible with the VENICE 2, PXW-X500, X200, and X180 and select camcorders that are compatible with wireless LAN network operation and have the appropriate firmware. A CBK-NA1E network adapter is included with the dual-band CBK-WA02 LAN adapter.

A: Technically yes you can, but these antennas are for wifi, and usually the wifi you're connecting to is inside your home. The other issue would be weatherproofing the antennas so they don't short out on you.

A: this unit operates on Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz, there is no mention from the manufacturer about it's ability or inability to hop channels to avoid interference

A: Sony only shows compatibility of the Sony CBK-WA02 Dual-Band Wireless LAN Adapter on the Venice 2, and not the original Venice camera model.

A: It links via the network to the device. The CBK-WA02 Wireless LAN adapter enables wireless data transfer from specified Sony camcorders to other devices on the same network.

[5 VDC] One of our AirFiber-24 PoE adapters failed in a power outage surge, and we found that an exact replacement was not available.
