A: USBC 3.0 is a slower transfer medium than Thunderbolt across the board. That sounds normal for transfer time on this drive.

[Bus Powered] Bought this to back up my PC files and create a System Image Backup for Windows 10. It works flawlessly, which is all one wants from an external USB drive. I like the case design - it has small rubber feet on the back which enables it to sit securely on my PC (or a desk) without slipping or falling. 5
