[0.455 lb] Prior to purchasing the Hoodman Drone Aviator Hood Kit For Ipad Mini I struggled with flying my DJI Inspire 1 when it was bright and sunny. Glare made my photography and shooting video a struggle. The Hoodman has solved it. I love the product because it reduces all the glare associated with the sun. If you are serious about flying your drone, this is a must have KIT. One quirk with the unit is getting you hand in the slit. Its slightly difficult.Well done Hoodman this is a great product and solved my problems.

[0.455 lb] I do a great of contracting work that usually takes place in the middle of day when the sun is at its highest point. Under these conditions my iPad mini screen is almost impossible to read. Not anymore! The Hood kit attached to my iPad now allows me to clearly view every fine detail with ease. Both parts assemble easily to on another and to the drone controller. It's a must have if you do a great deal of drone piloting while the sun is directly overhead.

[0.455 lb] I have tri ed two different hoods be and both were terrible with every detail. I decided to give the Hoodman a try and I should have started with the one. The straps are the correct width and flexibility. The placement of the straps for attaching to my iPad mini doesn't interfere with flying the drone or plugging it in to the controller - perfect detail. I keep the extender handy when flying as I don't always need it but even when attached or folded back it doesn't add too much bulk or weight. If you fly a drone don't waste your time on another brand. While you're at it get the Hoodman landing pad as well. It's another great addition

[0.455 lb] Solid piece of kit! Nothing better out there for a clear view of your control panel. A few mods are needed to make it perfect but I highly recommend this item if you're flying in bright conditions.
