The Camplex opticalCON MTP/MTP OM3 multimode XTREME cable with 12 fiber Neutrik opticalCON MTP X-TREME connectors simplifies connections and reduces installation time by running multiple fibers in one cable. This ruggedized Camplex cable saves space for field deployable broadcast AV applications and data transmission over multimode fiber trunks. The opticalCON MTP connectors feature a spring loaded push-pull locking mechanism for reliable operation.
Highly flexible, tightly-buffered polyurethane X-TREME tactical cables feature a cut-proof and rodent resistant double jacketed glass yarn armored construction. Machine polished and interferometer tested to industry standards, and dust and water resistant according to IP65 in mated condition.

A: It is a matter of preference when choosing between a sideload or Euro-style plate. With a sideload plate, you have the benefit of sliding the camera forward and back to balance your camera on the head. With a Euro-style plate, the camera pops in and out with rapid speed and zero adjustments are to be made. There is a separate sliding plate underneath for balance. Euro-style plates tend to cost more than their standard tripod plate counterparts, but add stability and quickness.

[OpticalCON] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great. 5

[MTP Male] We are a 3 piece band with a lot of big vocal harmonies. When we first plugged in our Lewitt mics we were very impressed with their quality, and the full range of sound that they produce. They are quiet, clear, and very responsive. A noticable improvement to the mics we were using before (the ones most bands use). [OpticalCON] Have only used it on a high gain guitar cab so far, but my first impression is that it does a great job capturing the amp tone, but sounds smoother than a 57 without sounding dull. I have it paired with a Royer 101 and after about 2 minutes of mic placement, it sounds killer. Overall, just seems to do what a 57 does, but with less harshness. Sometimes you may want that harshness though so, of course, you should have both. :) 5
