The ZvPro810i HD Digital Encoder/Modulator with 1-Port Unencrypted HDMI Input from ZeeVee distributes one channel of digital SD or HD up to 1080i/p throughout your entire facility over coax cable infrastructure. This QAM, MPEG2, Encoder/Modulator unit allows you to distribute content up to 1080p to an unlimited number of displays, using the TV's built in QAM tuner, eliminating the need for cumbersome, expensive set-top-boxes or media players at each display. The powerful, highly intuitive web interface is used for instrumentation and control while the front panel display is used for on-site status and management at a glance. The encoder is particularly useful in restaurants, pubs, & bars, health & fitness clubs, and in conference rooms.

Ethernet and WiFi are provided with the LiveU Solo SDI/HDMI Video/Audio Encoder, but cellular modems are an additional expense. A: Yes is does come with a power cable.

Q: 10. Does this hook up directly to internet/YouTube or to a laptop and from there to internet-YouTube?

A: This connects directly to youtube, etc through an internet connection. It does not need a laptop to function in the field. We have used a cellular usb modem, direct Cat5 internet connection, wifi, and a Cradlepoint cellular device to access the internet with no issues. We start the stream by accessing the Solo website with a smartphone. The events can be pre-configured using a pc but its not required. I hope this helps and we highly recommend using the LiveU Solo.

[5 lb] We use two of these for our digital signage around campus. These encoders have been up and running 24/7 for around 5 years and we've never had any issues. [5 lb] I purchase it as a 2 channel HDMI QAM modulator, Video quality is amazing, now i realized that I can also use it for IPTV streaming over our network, we streem 2 programs from Direct Tv Set top box to any of our 240 computers in our building , I search the net , i would need to pay more just for the IP streamers - good value 5

[4:2:0] We bought our Solo almost a year ago. If your need is to stream live events using bonded cellular connections, LiveU Solo is exactly what you need and we love ours. Community events, sports, weddings, breaking news will all shine with LiveU. If you are streaming events from locations where you have fixed 5Mb+ LAN connections, you have many other streaming hardware options to look at. Some of which will be cheaper, but all of which will be more complicated to setup and go live. The bonding feature for cell, WiFi and even LAN is what makes LiveU different. they basically invented the technology and most TV station use LiveU's broadcast gear for live shots. If you are an event producer, video production company or even a non-profit with lots of events LiveU Solo will light up your Social Media and WEB site. 5

[Metal] This has been solid so far. I wish they allowed you to save presets. For example, preset A = 1080p60 to Facebook , preset B = 720p to Twitch. So that things can be switched and set up quickly. Pairing the LiveU Solo with Restream is really powerful. The best way to do this is get data and bonding from LiveU. Buy the cellular modems from B&H. 5

[HRC, IRC or STD] I've been selling and installing both the RF only and RF+IP models of the ZVPRO since 2015. We had one power supply fail in that time frame. That unit was in a less than ideal location being bombarded with construction dust. The customer also had daisy chained power strips which I'm sure didn't help. That's it. We've had no other issues. All these units are still in service. 5
