The ZvPro820i HD Digital Encoder/Modulator with 2-Port Unencrypted HDMI Input from ZeeVee distributes one channel of digital SD or HD up to 1080i/p throughout your entire facility over coax cable infrastructure. This QAM, MPEG2, Encoder/Modulator unit allows you to distribute content up to 1080p to an unlimited number of displays, using the TV's built in QAM tuner, eliminating the need for cumbersome, expensive set-top-boxes or media players at each display. The powerful, highly intuitive web interface is used for instrumentation and control while the front panel display is used for on-site status and management at a glance. The encoder is particularly useful in restaurants, pubs, & bars, health & fitness clubs, and in conference rooms.

A: At this time there is no use for the Micro SD card slot.

A: yes LiveU will allow you to broadcast directly to a CDN without the use of their service. you can go to youtube, vimeo or any other platforms

Q: 7. Can I buy LRT subscription when I need it? for example if I need it for the next 30 days I can subscribe for one month and stop the subscription after that and only activate it when I need it? or if I start the subscription I will need to keep it active and pay monthly for it?

A: Unfortunately it is not. You are able to use either HDMI or SDI, you cannot connect 2 cameras at the same time to a single transmitter.

Q: 9. can I pair with my youtube account?

A: yes you can pair this with a YouTube account as a CDN

Q: 10. Can this unit connect to wifi without a USB modem connected? We are looking to connect as wifi only. No bonding. No direct wire connection to a modem.

A: The unit also has a CAT5 connection. And if you are at a difficult site, you can mix all 3.

[15] I've been selling and installing both the RF only and RF+IP models of the ZVPRO since 2015. We had one power supply fail in that time frame. That unit was in a less than ideal location being bombarded with construction dust. The customer also had daisy chained power strips which I'm sure didn't help. That's it. We've had no other issues. All these units are still in service. 5

[62,000 hours] Bought this to provide better video stream than my JVC GY LS300's RTSP feed (it has a big delay and sketchy feed). This is magnificent uncompressed quality. Already have a NewTek connect Spark, but this makes production a breeze. Been using it with a Church client's live stream and convinced them to go with Bird Dog products. They're not gonna regret it. 5

[62,000 hours] Almost any camcorder produced before 2018 doesn't have NDI capabilities but with the addition of the Birddog Mini, you can make a leap into the world of networked video without any heavy lifting. Excellent choice for any church or school that needs to stream video but doesn't want to incur the cost of wiring for video. Any HDMI source can be plugged into the Mini and using a local network, connected to a computer with a streaming application such as vMix or OBS. No capture card necessary - it just works. This is a device that needs to be in the toolbox of any serious videographer. 5

[4:2:0] I purchase it as a 2 channel HDMI QAM modulator, Video quality is amazing, now i realized that I can also use it for IPTV streaming over our network, we streem 2 programs from Direct Tv Set top box to any of our 240 computers in our building , I search the net , i would need to pay more just for the IP streamers - good value 5

[> 38 dB typical] Installed a pair of these to transmit to a projector up on the ceiling. POE made it all quick and painless. The unit at the projector is set to recieve from the other unit which can be plugged onto the network from any location around the stage, booth, or the rest of the facility for that matter. Easy for presenters to just plug on and present without fighting the technology. 5

[15] We replaced our old cable provider Nano box which was 480p with the VeeZee VZPro810 set-up was simple, transferring the settings from the nano to the VZ was straight forward. Had to contact VeeZee once via Email and the customer service was spectacular, quick response time and a plethora of good information 5

[15] We use two of these for our digital signage around campus. These encoders have been up and running 24/7 for around 5 years and we've never had any issues. I've been really pleased with the continued support and firmware updates from ZeeVee as well as how easy it is to manage them from the web interface. 5
