The HD-SDI Digital Encoder / Modulator from ZeeVee features the headend-ready technology that delivers 1080p resolution video from HD-SDI sources to any number of displays over existing coax for broadcast studios, security, and large venue applications like stadiums and arenas. It can transmit an IP stream for IPTV and IP/QAM in full MPEG2 both simultaneously and individually.

A: An AC power adapter is included in the box.

A: The LiveU LRT Cloud Bonding Annual Service (Download) does not provide internet but is a service for the LiveU Solo SDI/HDMI Video/Audio Encoder that combines multiple connections, like WiFi, ethernet, and two cellular modems, to have a robust and reliable connection for streaming. Ethernet and WiFi are provided with the LiveU Solo SDI/HDMI Video/Audio Encoder, but cellular modems are an additional expense. Q: 3. is one year lrt subscription includes in $995 ?

A: No, a subscription to LRT is not included with this product. The subscription must be purchased separately.

Q: 4. The LiveU competitor VidiU lets you broadcast directly to Youtube from its admin page at no cost provided you do not want to do bonding. Does LiveU offer something similar not requiring a service or is it straight RTMP when not provisioned with a cloud service?

A: yes LiveU will allow you to broadcast directly to a CDN without the use of their service. you can go to youtube, vimeo or any other platforms

Q: 5. What is a micro sd input?

A: At this time there is no use for the Micro SD card slot.

Q: 6. Does this hook up directly to internet/YouTube or to a laptop and from there to internet-YouTube?

A: This connects directly to youtube, etc through an internet connection. It does not need a laptop to function in the field. We have used a cellular usb modem, direct Cat5 internet connection, wifi, and a Cradlepoint cellular device to access the internet with no issues. We start the stream by accessing the Solo website with a smartphone. The events can be pre-configured using a pc but its not required. I hope this helps and we highly recommend using the LiveU Solo.

Q: 7. Is an A/C adapter included with the solo ?

A: Yes, the LiveU Solo comes with an AC power cord to power it from an outlet.

Q: 8. Can I use the sim card from my mobile phone in the Modems used by the LiveU solo?

A: The modems will take any SIM card that has an active plan affiliated with it.

Q: 9. Is it possible to use both the SDI and HDMI inputs on the LiveU Solo at the same time? (e.g. to stream two camera inputs at the same time)

A: Unfortunately it is not. You are able to use either HDMI or SDI, you cannot connect 2 cameras at the same time to a single transmitter.

Q: 10. Can this unit connect through rj45 (ethernet cable) to my ubiquiti Gateway and provide internet to my local network on site while uploading my live stream? Would I just not use an hdmi or sdi and allow wirecast to use the internet provided by this units bonded modems? Or is it only for upload and no download?

A: We're afraid not. According to LiveU this unit will not provide internet to an outside device however it will take an Ethernet connection for streaming.

[HRC, IRC or STD] I works perfect. The only thing i can complain is i wish they have an app for this encoder or may be i just don't know it. And the bonding LT service i feel like its too expensive. 5

[8.7 lb] This device worked right out of the box. We use it for live streaming public meetings and other news related events. Flawless! It works connected directly to our camera in the field, or to vMix software on our PC at the office. 5

[62,000 hours] I've been selling and installing both the RF only and RF+IP models of the ZVPRO since 2015. We had one power supply fail in that time frame. That unit was in a less than ideal location being bombarded with construction dust. The customer also had daisy chained power strips which I'm sure didn't help. That's it. We've had no other issues. All these units are still in service. 5

[4:2:0] We replaced our old cable provider Nano box which was 480p with the VeeZee VZPro810 set-up was simple, transferring the settings from the nano to the VZ was straight forward. Had to contact VeeZee once via Email and the customer service was spectacular, quick response time and a plethora of good information 5

[15] This has been solid so far. I wish they allowed you to save presets. For example, preset A = 1080p60 to Facebook , preset B = 720p to Twitch. So that things can be switched and set up quickly. Pairing the LiveU Solo with Restream is really powerful. The best way to do this is get data and bonding from LiveU. Buy the cellular modems from B&H. 5

[62,000 hours] I purchase it as a 2 channel HDMI QAM modulator, Video quality is amazing, now i realized that I can also use it for IPTV streaming over our network, we streem 2 programs from Direct Tv Set top box to any of our 240 computers in our building , I search the net , i would need to pay more just for the IP streamers - good value 5

[8.7 lb] We use two of these for our digital signage around campus. These encoders have been up and running 24/7 for around 5 years and we've never had any issues. I've been really pleased with the continued support and firmware updates from ZeeVee as well as how easy it is to manage them from the web interface. 5
