Q: 6. Under In the Box it says a 3/8 -16 Camera Tie-Down Screw is included. However, looking at the pictures it looks physically impossible to put a 3/8 screw in the plate. Usually there is a rubber stopper and a large hole for plates that accept 3/8 . Can a 3/8 screw be used with this plate?

A: Yes, you can use the 3/8 and there is a rubber grommet in the end. you just can't see it in the photo

[0.25 lb] As several of the other reviews have commented, this is an adapter, not a converter. If your component has S-Video output and VGA, though your VGA port, this works perfect. However, only a small percentage of components have this output. PC's usually do, so if that is what you are trying to convert, you might be good. Recommendation... check carefully, you likely will need a converter and not an adapter. 5
