The Laird ED-BE-2XMF-003 HD15 to XLR male & female analog audio i/o breakout cable for ensemble designs BrightEye 30/30D is designed for superior connectivity with high quality 4-channel audio cable and XLR connectors. Cables are built with 24AWG stranded bare copper and are polypropylene insulated, individually shielded and jacketed with an overall heavy duty CL2 PVC jacket.
The 12-inch fan out includes Neutrik 3-Pin XLR connectors which feature a durable zinc die cast shell, fiberglass reinforced hard plastic insert, and chuck type strain relief for secure clamping of all cables. Designed by Laird for the BrightEye BE 30/30D models.

A: This microphone would not be compatible with the XBox.

Q: 5. Does this record soundfiles in mp3? Wav? Or Aiiff?

A: The format the microphone records in depends on which recording/editing software you are using. Say for example, you are using Audacity. When you are finished recording, you can export in a number of formats including but not limited to .mp3 and .wav

Q: 6. Will this microphone work with Adobe Premiere Elements 12 for Mac?

A: I don't own a Mac.

Q: 7. Can I connect it to a mixer through a different cable than the USB cable?

A: The USB connector provides direct integration with Windows and Mac computers. It cannot be connected directly to a mixer.

Q: 8. I had my company buy three of these mic sets and for some reason the audio volume dips during recordings. WE connected everything fine and plug it into Rodecaster pro but each time we do a podcast the volume dips and comes back up on a few seconds. Distance between speaker and mic has not changed, Could you say what could be the cause?

A: If you are using the RodeCaster Pro Integrated Podcast Production Studio, then the Audio-Technica AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Microphones should be connected directly to the XLR mic inputs on the RodeCaster Pro with phantom power turned on. It sounds like you may have the compressor and/or master compressor effects turned on and possibly set too high. The compressor is used to smooth and balance the dynamic range in your audio so your voice is clear, punchy, and intelligible. It can even out the audio so the softest parts of your speech can be heard and the loudest parts of your speech will not be overpowering or distorted. The master compressor affects the entire output of your podcast, so if the problem occurs with all of the mics, that may be what is causing the issue. Check the settings on both the regular and master compressor effects and adjust them as needed. Q: 9. Does Arca type mean it will accept Arca plates or not?

A: Arca-Swiss refers to a rail system which has become somewhat of an industry standard. Arca-Swiss compatible means that this rail system is used. Many such products have additional security systems to keep the plates from coming out of their clamps, accidentally. These systems may not be compatible across various brands. The plates can still be used but you have to make extra sure that the clamp has been tightened.

[PVC] I got my nee sony nxh nx3 and as many know camera does not come with a mic. I had previously order a double angled xlr to xlr but pin conector on my camera was to tigh, and B&H customer representative said no problem we can exchage your item and they did it was super fast and I was really happy about it. I love this cable because is curly and you know if you need a linger cable is there. It doesn't bother me at all and yes it pricey but worth it. 5

[24] I use this breakout cable to connect a mixer board or recorder (e.g., Zoom F8) to a Shogun 7, for professional balanced audio, synchronized with video as it is recorded. 3.5 mm TRS connections are too fragile for professional use, and are generally unbalanced. 5
