You would want to stream music from a mobile device and connect that to an hdmi tv input, or from a smart tv itself, and run the audio out of the tv to the karaoke receiver. A: I bought it exactly to fit an 27-inch iMac just like yours. It fits just right. It's a little tricky, because you must remove almost every piece of the pick-n-pluck foam. You do get padding on the edges, just enough to protect from the hard plastic. I had an international fight and a some others domestic ones, and everything came right. Since it is very deep, I even had space to fit keyboard, my Wacom tablet and some external hard drives on the other layers of foam under the actual iMac.
