The white Sanken COS-11D Lavalier Mic with TA4F Connector, Whiteis a subminiature lav microphone designed to deliver clear, full-bodied sound and reliable performance, making it a popular choice among industry professionals in broadcast, TV, theater, film, videography, and more.

Engineered to meet the standards of modern digital wireless microphone systems, the COS-11D is RF shielded to eliminate interference issues and ensure a pristine audio signal. The microphone capsule features a rectangular design that sits vertically, increasing the surface area and allowing this tiny mic to offer a rich, full sound that outperforms many larger models.

The mic's 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response rolls-off extreme low end and provides accurate, transparent audio reproduction with a small presence boost in the 6 kHz area for crisp, intelligible speech. With a forgiving omnidirectional polar pattern that picks up sound in a 360° pattern, levels stay consistent even when the subject turns away from the mic.

A water-resistant mesh screen protects against humidity, perspiration, makeup, bad weather, and other potential on-location issues, while the durable cable is also moisture-resistant and built to stay soft and pliable, even after extended use. This version of the COS-11D terminates in a TA4F connector and is wired for use with Trantec transmitters. A metal windscreen, holder clip, rubber mount, and plastic case are included.

Q: 5. How do I adjust the round joint nearest the mic mount? I can't get it to move at all.

A: Try loosening the triangular knob and that should allow the joint to move so you can position the mic mount as needed. Once you have it positioned as desired, then tighten the knob to keep it in place. If you are still having problems, you may want to try contacting the manufacturer directly. You can reach O.C. A: It is not very difficult to replace the cable, but you might want to consider an uncabled arm like the Blue Compass that is designed to use your own cable, and has a channel to keep things neat. You can also easily adjust the tension on the hinges. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1385876-REG/blue_compass_desktop_boom_arm.html

[3 to 10 V] This microphone is excellent. Durable. The sound is very clean and high quality. If black is worn, the black mic is invisible on camera.

[3 to 10 V] I've been wanting to get one of these for years but the cost has prevented me. My Sennheiser MKE1 (which I Loved!) finally went out on me so I'm went with this next. So far I Love it!!

[Plug-In Power] I had to return Rode Wireless Filmmaker Kit due to a mediocre SQ and was going through Sound Bible over and over again in search of an answer... I think I found it! Won't compare this two, but rather simply state that it cannot be better, I'm very satisfied with what this mic has to offer, and I'm willing to deal with cable until I find wireless system producing same results... Top notch craftsmanship and performance. VERY sensitive and requires only 9 o'clock gain on my SD MixPre-D for a strong clean signal. Love it!

[Omnidirectional] I have yet to find a better all-purpose lag for interviews. Not much else to say, worth the money.
