The white RCF HDL10-A 1400W Dual 8" Active Line Array Modulefrom RCF HDL10-A 1400W Dual 8" Active Line Array Moduleis designed for use in live sound reinforcement and installed situations. The system is powered from a 1400W peak power two-way digital amplifier (400W for the HF and 1000W for the LF), and sound is processed from a powerful DSP. The system features two 8" low-frequency transducers with a 2" voice coil for a solid bass reproduction, and a large-format 2" compression driver to deliver vocal clarity and high definition. The custom-designed waveguide allows a coverage of 100 x 15°, whilst also delivering linear high-frequency response.

The ND 640 compression driver's 2.5" voice coil allows a crossover point of 800 Hz, which allows a wide vocal range to be produced by this driver. The DSP also includes presets for indoor/outdoor usage and highly curved arrays.

The back-panel controls allow a number of simple optimizations to be carried out: two possible HF settings, four possible cluster configurations, an EQ setting for high-curved configurations, and an Indoor Correction EQ. A volume knob allows to set the overall volume of the speaker, according to its application. This unit provides Power, Signal, and Status LEDs for monitoring the system.

The HDL10-A features configurable mechanic; angles between cabinets are selectable with 2° resolution and allow the system engineer to create J-shaped or spiral arrays. HDL10-A cabinets are molded on a polypropylene composite material designed to dampen-down vibrations, even at maximum volume settings. The module is equipped with two aluminum side handles with a rubber handgrip for portability. The system is equipped with a heavy-duty fly bar. The steel construction mechanics make it possible to fly up to 16 modules in daisy chain manner.

[HF Limiter] It's amazing how this box has such a clear and strong sound. I was a user of Turbosound ip2000 which I sold recently because I only work with big sound but after listening to this Evox J8, believe me that it has NOTHING to envy to the regular Evox 8. Even the Bass 12 is even bigger than the regular evox 8 something that helps him a lot for heavy bass. Is it worth the investment. I recommend it. Thanks B & H 5

[Convection] Most of the reviews for the JMix8 are by DJ's. I'm using it as a solo singer songwriter and this thing is INCREDIBLE!!! Got my voice dialed in with compression and reverb and my guitar just sings through this setup. I'm still learning how to use all of the features but I could not be happier with how it sounds the way I have it set up now. I was hoping to use the electric guitar modeling amps built into it but I haven't found any out of the box settings that I'd use live. Just want a simple crunch and a clean sound I can be proud of but haven't figured that part out yet. I'm not a great guitar amp setting mind so I've always struggled getting the sounds I want to come out of my amps. But with acoustic and voice only!? WOW WOW WOW!!! 5

[800 Hz] I got this 10 years ago for a documentary shoot. They have never failed in any way. Does not have on indicator light but I always change/recharge batteries end of day. Not a single problem all this time and excellent quality. 5

[HF Limiter] Our company uses several differnt brands of PA and subwoofers, and we have been extremely impressed with this unit. Extraordinarily high outout, no distortion, lots of configuration options, and powered. These units are at least as good (if not better) than our single 18 subs from L'Acoustics, Martin, and D&B. We have 16 of them, and they are quickly becoming our first choice for that type of sub. They are a bit heavy, but it is likely a byproduct of how rock solid they are. Very recomended unit. 5

[800 Hz] I could'nt ask for a better better experience than my recent purchase of the RCF Evox J8 system...Product is terrific,service was excellent. I called in on a Sunday afternoon and sales rep was right there and amswered any questions...The only hiccup was FedEX delivery which was supposed to be on Wednesday did not occur until Thursday.. I forgot to add price was extremely competitive as well. I highly recommend B&H for Video and Audio needs. 5

[52 lb] I just used two of these with two QSC K10.2s and they were banging so loud; I loved it! All of my guests really enjoyed it too. The bass is really great and the cross-over options are even better. I would definitely recommend these and I highly recommend buying these direct here, from B&H Photo; amazing customer service team! 5
