Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If Kodak no longer makes film, how old is this film?

A: This is brand new film and still being made by Kodak.

Q: 2. Is this item glossy or matte?

A: matte

Q: 3. Does it fit the epson inkjet T5170 printer?

A: Yes, this roll of paper is compatible with the Epson Inkjet T5170 since the roll of paper is 36" wide, 2" in its core, and 8 mil in thickness.

Q: 4. Is this compatible with the kodak color plus 100 ?

A: The Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is very much like the ColorPlus 100 film. It is one stop better in low light at 200 vs 100 iso.

Q: 5. Is it front print or back print?

A: The Kodak Universal Backlit Film (24" x 100' Roll) BH #KOUBF24100 only has one side coated which is printable. The back side is not.

Q: 6. Does it work well to be pushed and or pulled? If so how many steps?

A: I would not pull this film, rather take the cheaper 400 then. For push, I was not really happy with the results. But maybe my pushing was not done well from the lab.

Q: 7. What's the difference between color plus and gold/ultramax?

A: The main difference between the two options is the Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures), B&H # KO20036CP, is a medium-speed film and has an ISO rating of ISO 200, while the Kodak GC/UltraMax 400 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures), B&H # KOGC36, is a high-speed film and has an ISO rating of ISO 400. If you are shooting in bright light (or if you will be pushing/pulling your film for overexposure/underexposure), you may wish to use the ColorPlus 200, while if you are shooting sports or shooting in slightly lower light, the UltraMax 400 would be a better option for your usage needs.

Q: 8. Could you reduce price for high quantity?

A: Unfortunately, we cannot. The prices we have listed for film are the best that we can offer.

Q: 9. Is this film DX coded?

A: Yes, the Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is DX coded.

Q: 10. Is this priced as one roll or 3 rolls?

A: Kodak ColorPlus 200 Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is one (1) roll of film.

[8 mil (0.20 mm)] This film was used in a temporary public art piece - not necessarily it's intended use. I did not print on it, but used acrylic paints on the matte side of the film for part of the piece. It is durable, waterproof and flexible. It rained and held up. I would use it again for it's specific purpose as well as alternate uses.

[8 mil (0.20 mm)] I purchased this material to print large scale images on for an upcoming show. The texture of the printable size is matte enough and light passes through the film extremely well. If you're interested in having light pass through your prints, this is a really great material to purchase. I was unable to locate an ICC profile for it, but I'm making my own.

[Glossy] While 120 is definitely the superior version of this stock, it looks great in 135 as well. This film somehow switches on the nostalgia button in my brain, even for rolls I've just shot.
