The Q115 consists of a main unit, a sensor unit, and a 39' connecting cable. This camera uses a 1/3.2" progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture 2592 x 1944 resolution video at 15 fps. The 3.7mm fixed lens delivers a 70.2° horizontal field of view. An onboard memory card slot accepts microSDHC/SDXC cards up to 256GB (Kingston or Sandisk only, available separately). Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable.

This camera is equipped with two-way audio communication. It complies with ONVIF profiles S & G, making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. EN 50155 compliance provides vibration resistance for the camera's housing.
