A: Unfortunately, this battery grip is not compatible with the Panasonic G7 nor does Panasonic offer a battery grip for this camera.

Q: 3. Could I use it in a battery grip (VEBGP2)? Will it work?

A: Yes I've used it to film a performance for 70 minutes - worked absolutely fine. Only thing is you can't close the door on the battery compartment on the battery grip but that wasn't an issue for me.

A: No not at all. It's a nice cage but you won't be able to use the interface or the battery grip.

A: Yes, there is a 14 -20 on the bottom for tripods and accessories.

A: It is not, this battery grip would be made of a hard plastic.

A: Panasonic GH5/GH4 battery power is 7.2V, 1860mAh and this adapter converts ac to that speck , the FZ80 battery is 7.2V, 895mAh , 965mAh difference , your camera would not be compatible with this

A: No, this will not work on the GH2 unfortunately. There was another aftermarket grip available that was never sold by B&H. You may be able to find it in an internet search.

Q: 9. I have a Panasonic Lumix GH4 camera and want to power it from an AC outlet. It looks like your DMW-AC10 AC Adapter and the Panasonic DMW-DCC12 DC Coupler may do this. However, both of these seem like they may have originally be intended for the GH3 camera and not the GH4. For example, the battery that goes in the GH4 provides 7.4 volts and the DMW-AC10 AC Adapter puts out 8.4 volts. So, will these two together work with the Panasonic GH4 camera?

A: The DMW-AC10 is the AC adapter Panasonic has designed for the camera. Regardless of the output this is the proper adapter to be using with the camera according to them.

Q: 10. Anyone try this on a GH5 yet?

A: It will not fit or work with the Panasonic GH5 camera. Vello does not currently offer a GH5 version of the battery grip, so the only current model available for the GH5 is from Panasonic.

[5 x 4.6 x 3.3"] This works as advertised. I have more peace of mind purchasing the official Panasonic version, which has an apparent good build quality. There are many generic, cheaper versions but some have reported effects to the camera. 5

[5 x 4.6 x 3.3"] Panasonic and B&H sites don't come right out and say it, so one needs to do some research – or call B&H Customer Support - to learn that photographers with Lumix cameras that use DMW-BLK22 batteries need this DMW-AC10 AC Adapter and the DMW-DCC17 Coupler (fake battery) to externally power their cameras. While there are probably other manufacturers making external power dongles that may work, this is the only combo that probably won’t void your warranty should problems ensue. The Lumix S5, S5IIX, GH5, GH5II, G9, G9II and probably some others are among the cameras I know of. 5

[Cage] I got a DMW-DCC17 dummy battery and use this to power my Panasonic GH6. It works perfectly, exactly as expected and advertised. Of special note is that the cord (between the adapter and the camera) is of sufficient length to give some flexibility in how and where I mount the camera vs where and how I mount the adapter during filming. Since the power cord portion itself is both standard and separate from the adapter, I was able to purchase a second cord (from a third party) to have the power cord permanently installed in two locations, moving my camera between the two. This resulted in the most flexible and reasonably affordable solution that fit my needs accordingly. 5

[0.45 lb] Great for taking vertical pictures. Makes it more comfortable and camera adjustments are at your fingertips. The fit is right on, even has built in storage for protective covers so they won’t get lost. Must uncouple unit to charge camera battery is a downside. Overall very satisfied. 5

[Cage] I got this for my GH4 and it works perfectly. The only thing that I was not 100% happy about is that it only fits 1 battery in the grip (which I think is common to all the grips for GH4). You can still have one battery in the camera while using the grip so you are using 2 batteries. This is not too bad because of the great battery life of the Panasonic GH4 batteries. It's a bit of a pain when replacing the batteries because they are in different locations and you would need to remove the grip to replace the second one. This is the same as the original Panasonic grip. 5

[Cage] I just purchased a GH5 and per Panasonics recommendation, I only use OEM batteries and accessories. Yes this is more expensive but using cheap knockoffs can and will void your warranty and for such an expensive camera, why risk it? The oem dummy battery has been on back order longer than promised so I have not yet actually used this product. From the looks of it, the build quality is amazing. Fit and finish are exactly as you would expect buying from the original manufacturer. I have complete confidence this will work perfectly when my battery comes to me. 5
