A: Sorry, no the Sony Vertical Battery Grip for Alpha a7 II will not fit this cage. Generally for video, battery grips are avoided with external battery solutions being preferred. Having a large V-mount battery on the back of the rig has been found to be much better for weight distribution with the added advantage of having power for other accessories such as a light, a recorder, a monitor etc, etc.

A: Hello Davis. The GH4 Cage is form-fitted to the GH4 and only designed for that camera. However, the G7 is slightly smaller than the GH4, so it might work if the mounts on the bottom are in the same place. I cannot guarantee it will, though, and recommend finding a way to get your hands on a cage to try your camera on for testing purposes.
