Q: 1. I just purchased this Background, and I have a background support, but I can't seem to get the muslin to lay flat, it will always wrinkle or ripple no matter how I adjust it. Any suggestions on how to get it lay flat and not ripple?

A: The background should be pulled tauta across the background pole. It can further secured by using the Bessey Steel Spring Clamp (Black, 2 & 1/4 x 2") B&H # BEXM5B, placed every 2 feet.

Q: 2. If I Hung an LED curtain behind this would it show through? Am after a backdrop for wedding use

A: If you hung an LED behind this white curtain, it would show through.

Q: 3. Does background gels work on both sides of this setup to show different colors ?? j. Payne

A: You can place a back light with a gel on either side of this background for various effects.

Q: 4. The cross pole seems to have different sized holes and one upright fits through hole and other doesn't? Not understanding the fit? Are there pieces missing? Just have 2 stands, cross pole and curtain? Are the 2 stands supposed to be identical? Help Thanks Tom

A: You can light through it, but it will kill a huge amount of power.

A: Green is used for chroma keying as humans generally do not have the color in them. It allows the software to easily remove the background. If the subject is wearing green then you would switch to a blue background.

Q: 8. What is the length of the crossbar in the Port-A-Stand? Also, is the crossbar one solid piece, or a snap together, or other?

A: The corssbar has a max width of 10.6'. It is telescopic.

Q: 9. How much weight will the Savage Port-A-Stand support?

A: The Savage Port-A-Stand would be able to support up to 25 lbs.
