A: Sorry, no the Sony Vertical Battery Grip for Alpha a7 II will not fit this cage. Generally for video, battery grips are avoided with external battery solutions being preferred. Having a large V-mount battery on the back of the rig has been found to be much better for weight distribution with the added advantage of having power for other accessories such as a light, a recorder, a monitor etc, etc.

A: Hello Davis. The GH4 Cage is form-fitted to the GH4 and only designed for that camera. However, the G7 is slightly smaller than the GH4, so it might work if the mounts on the bottom are in the same place. I cannot guarantee it will, though, and recommend finding a way to get your hands on a cage to try your camera on for testing purposes.

A: The size of the hex tool is not listed, but that is because this is specifically for LockCircle MultiPort systems. It is the proper size to work with such systems.

[0.22 lb] AMAZing quality construction for this low boy 2x riser stand made by Matthews. I absolutely love this stand. I use it with the innovativ Axis wheels (which work with this 1 square tubing legs) and the axis worksurface pro. It's great since you have a baby pin up top to add for an extra monitor for photographer / client as well. MUST buy for any digitech / DIT / camera loader out there 5

[0.35" (9 mm)] I use a pair of these lowboys primarily for my Dana Dolly setup. Construction is as expected from a Matthews product: Solid, durable, and sturdy. They're a bit heavier than I expected, but easy to move around and set up. One of the legs will extend for use on uneven surfaces which was a big selling point for me. Overall, a great stand. 5

[0.22 lb] I love how compact the combo stand legs fold snug next to the center column. I bought this for my home studio to use as my camera mount as it has a smaller footprint then my tripod and I found I frequently needed something to adjust height quickly and easily instead of adjusting three separate tripod legs. But this will also allow me to mount heavy lights/modifiers if needed. Everything about this stand feels well built and the black color is great for studio work where reflections need to be minimized. Recommend upgrade for folks used to C-Stands who want something sturdier and more compact (though definitely not lighter). 5

[0.35" (9 mm)] Far more solid than a C-stand - heaver too. Has a lot higher load capacity that a C-stand with a wider stance and an Junior receiver or baby pin. Fits in my 36 travel case for checked baggage. Requires sand bags with a boom because of the limited footprint. A great alternative when space is limited. Matthews high quality throughout this steel stand. 5

[0.22 lb] This thing is a beast especially when you include the wheels. It's certainly a workhorse with many studio usage. Wish there was another version exactly the same specs except half the weight and supports half the load. 5
